I've gotten the itch for a First Focal Plane scope for HFT. I've decided to blame my erratic performances on changing magnification and forgetting to check POI for that setting.
I've been studying/lusting after the Hawke Sport Optics Sidewinder FFP 4-16x50. Does anyone have any experience with this scope? any experience with FFP scopes and HFT?

I'm a fan of hawke, I've owned 6 of their scopes from the varmint 4-16 to the Sidewinder ED 10-50. I like them all and trust them.
I have no experience with the new FFP line, but if they are anywhere as high of quality as their SFP predecessors I think they will be successful.
I purchased an athlon Argos 6-24 FFP that claimed it focused to ten yards. Unfortunately it was more like 13. So I couldn't use it for FT application.
