Where are the CZ 634's now?
« on: March 02, 2018, 12:41:00 AM »
OK, bought the CZ 634 last year from BUD'S and was looking to buy another, but no one seems to have any in stock. Did the company stop shipping them to CZ USA?  It's sooooo underrated but one of the best springers in my posse.

I read Slavia (CZ) sold the 634 design to a company in Slovakia called Perun (prune). You can google them. They're not selling here yet.

Earmark it on Amazon.  That's where I picked up mine last year- basically got it for free using some Choice Hotel points converted to Amazon gift cards.  Otherwise, I'd go to CZ- not as cheap as Amazon but I'd rather spend more and shoot than wait to who know's when.

Here's the only place I've seen them in stock.

https://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/07009_Slavia-634--Cal-45mm-Airgun--Red-Stock

$158 - isn't a bad price for a very nice gun.

I bought a brand new one with a wood stock about one month ago here in Canada, they are hard to find. Excellent little rifle!

Totally agree. The CZ cocks and shoots as smoothly as a HW30, hits as hard as a HW50, is as accurate as either, the stock is a great fit, and the trigger is easily tweaked for a crisp, light single stage.

I have been shooting mine for about 2 months - the trigger seems to be wearing in and is smoother and lighter- either that or I'm just getting used to it.Wonder if  metal in the trigger might not be as hard as some other guns and it's not my imagination- it really is wearing in nicely.

All true about new company.
ZVS IMPEX, which bought the license from Česká zbrojovka, will produce Slavia brand air rifles in Slovakia.

Slavia 630, 631, 634 are now Perun 730, 731, 734.

Hope they decide to sell spare parts here.  I can't find springs or seals anywhere.  Parts support would make me inclined to keep mine, but as it is it will be on the block soon.  Great gun though.

seals can be bought thru ARH, the Gamo piston seals fit those rifles, also a good hardware store u can find a pluming seal for the breech and I have seen some decent looking spring and guide set ups on ebay! ;) :P

I have a cz 631 that is from early 2000's. Do you know the specific gammo piston seal at ARH that fits this rifle? This is the old style piston seal not the new one and I think you are referring to the newer ones. . Thanks
