H&N Baracuda .30 cal 46.3 grain pellets???

I've used them in a few guns, they were on par with JSB performance out of  Evanix, FX and Hatsan barrels.  Didn't have such good luck with Ataman though, that gun will only shoot JSB in .30.

Oddly enough, the illustration on the tin, and the copy on Pyramyds site, they look nothing like  H&N, but much more like JSB's.

Putting them side by side with JSB, the H&N are taller.  The "flat" section transitioning from the skirt to the head is also much longer on the H&N.  And handling them, they are much harder than JSB pellets, which is typical of the H&N because of their composition.

I noticed the wider transition area, but the head itself doesn't look kuda like at all. At least not in the pic. but rather JSB like. Not a bad thing for energy transfer.

I should clarify, that's comparing them to the 44 grain JSB.  Compared to the 50 grain JSB, the flat portion is much shorter on the H&N.  Still taller though, by about .5mm

Yes, definitely more rounded than a smaller cal cuda, no doubt about that.  Probably didn't want to make them any longer than they already are.  As of right now, cycling in the Impact mag can be a little tough one two or three shots.  But a little material removal from the cover plate of the magazine should take care of that.

I did exactly that on the milling machine to be able to shoot some pellets I wanted to try in the MRod mag. Worked just fine.
