Are you sure about the LAMINAR flow thing? I know what you are describing when you call it laminar, but I think it's a wrong word for it. With the pressure differences inside a pcp airgun, I think all flow past the valve will stay turbulent. Or have you calculated the Reynolds number to determine it laminar?I have a marauder cobra valve and it's like the 1st example shown. Or almost the same.
