I just pumped it up with the hand pump man I am way out of shape lol. What is a good compressor under $600?

I bought the Centerpoint 4-16x40mmAO. Baker Airgun has them on sale for $49

Travis Wes up in Canada has but if it's one of the newer ones that have a degassing block in it, it might be a problem. I have two guns that I could do it with, one is one of the originals and the other is a 25 cal prototype which would also work. I think that the regulators that Wes has were made for the very first Sentry's.

Mine is the 3-12X with the side focus, if I didn't have the F10 Shoebox I'd probably get one of those new Xisico Compressor's but Wes might be out of them by now.

Shot the 705 .22 Sentry today for the first time and all I can say is WOW, I'm very impressed with how smooth and quiet shooting it is.

I cranked the power up to I think 3 1/2 but less than 4 and I'm shooting H&N Terminators 16.36 right around 26.87 fpe.

I haven't tried any heavier pellets yet because I have 5 tins of the Terminators and want to use them up first. It wouldn't take a whole lot more to get 30 fpe from this gun.

I felt if I turn the power up more the Terminators may not shoot as well as they are.

They're shooting same hole groups at 10 yards in the basement, now I need to get outside and really get it sighted in for hunting.

Buddy they are a fantastic shooting gun, accurate and a lot of shots per fill. When using mine I think these guns don't even need a regulator because you can get a nice long string with them with very little extreme spread. I say what's not to like about a well made gun that performs as well as these do especially since they don't cost you an arm and leg to buy.

I emailed Mike Melick about what O ring size should I get for my 705-9 fill port and he said this size works much better than what they send you in the o ring kit with the gun. The O Ring Store only had them in 70Duro, I just installed one in my 705-9 after I had tried two more of the ones supplied with the guns I'd purchased. It seemed like it was extruding the original type real fast in comparison to my other pcp's. Also I might add that the originals that were in the kits were red and blue and I honestly don't know what they were made from but I had problems getting them to seal good. When I installed the one that I got from the O Ring Store it went without a hitch . . . time will tell how this one will hold up.

Well I went out in the afternoon and put 4 mags through the 705-9K and she's shooting true to form, it was late and I didn't spot any good squirrel targets. I left it the way it was when I got home, just checked it about an hour ago and it was right where I left it, I topped it off and did notice how much better it was filling compared to the stock o rings that I've been using in it. I'll have to use it much more to really find out how well it's going to work with the 70duro in the fill port. When Mike told me the size to buy he never specified whether it should be 70 or 90 Duro. I figured since the O Ring Store didn't have them they might be tougher to find in 90duro.

Buddy that o ring is working great so far I got 2 fox squirrels and a chipper with my 705-9 today. When I top the gun off it seems to work better than it did before. Mike M said that size works much better. It's the only o ring I've had go bad on these guns, I did replace the probe o ring on my prototype .25.
That o ring only takes about 5 minutes to replace, it's that easy

Compare the item number with the diagram, it will give you the "O" ring size............

I read/understand Chinese either, LOL

Item # 6 shows 2 "O" rings, size 8.2x1.8 mm etc

And it has o rings on the pellet probe, not in the barrel to get caught on my patchworm? Why don't more companies do this? It has to cost more to groove the inside if a barrel than the outside of a probe, its easier to clean and lube, and you'll have to clean it less if a graphite covered pellet doesn't have to drag over it before every shot. Maybe More prone to wear, but you don't have to take the barrel out to replace it.

This thread is getting huge, almost to the point its hard to read it all and find answers. On page 16, slight nose bleed and red eyes.
