No worries. I have the three that came with mine and they look to be unused. I just wanted an extra and Wes just responded to my email blast saying that he had found three of them and would be sending me an invoice shortly.

On a side note, my Barrel o-rings @ the Transfer Port were kinda chewed-up on my .22. When replacing them, is it okay to use a tiny amount of silicone grease as a lubricant?

Yes its good to use the O-ring grease.

Use whatever you dont mind coming out of the barrel bore but make sure its silicone based, no distillates in there.

Are you going to make/use a Barrel Band to stabilize the Shroud/Barrel? That's the one thing good about the stock plastic chunk.

Nope, barrel is free floating. I find guns are generally more accurate when the barrel is not "connected" to the air cylinder. That barrel is plenty secure in the breech.

I can only speak to my experience but I found at least with the DAR rifles that each one preferred a different set up with and without a barrel band for different pellets and for slugs. I found no perfect solution in the end.

It cost nothing but five minutes time to try it both ways and find out which works best for your particular gun. I know I will be trying this with my century as well. I am just waiting for a replacement barrel from Mike.

Am removing the Breech Assemblies on both my 705HC Sentry's to inspect & clean out any metal shavings etc. left from the Factory. Is there a Torque value for the four screws that hold the breech assembly in place?

I am using 12 inch pounds of torque myself since the steel quality of the bolt and air tube are unknown.

Class 5.6 uses 12.12 inch pounds and Class 8.8 uses 27.48 inch pounds of torque based on IFI 5th Edition Technical Data N-12/N-16.

Well, considering the torque I had to apply to break those four screws loose, they came tightened way more than that from the Factory.

Did you have to send your barrel to him first. Mines drilled off center on the breach end.

Have you shot it? You'd be surprised how many "off center" bored barrels shoot fantastic. I mean I'm sure there is a tolerance where they are go/no-go. Post a pic if you don't mind, I'd like to see how far off.

Nope, I just emailed Mike and he told me he is mailing out a barrel. I'll see how this one shoots but the original was straight and bored on center.

I decided that for $200 I will keep the Sentry because I LOVE the stock and the air tube. It shoots 25.39gr pellets well so I can keep her a pellet gun and see how fast I can get her before the pellets destabilize and I lose accuracy.
