Struggling between Bullboss in .22 or .25

Have you tried moving bipod back towards trigger ?
This will take most of the twist out of the front section. Plus it just feels right to be able to grab up front instead of father back on stock by trigger. Least ways for me.
I also folded and inserted some cheap black hobby felt under air tube to stock ..You can trim to fit and it's almost unnoticeable.

Other then that..You still liking the Rifle ?
How was your port for fill nipple ? any burrs ?

I also bought the .25 bullboss from field supply under $400 they shipped it today  ... I have the gladius in .25  ... and that gun shoots lights out between 30-100 yards love that gun ... I have the at44 long .25  and  the marauder .25  ...  standing shouldered the gladius feels the best out of those 3 ... all of them are very accurate , and they all have something to offer, and I really like them all  ....

 another gun I just purchased ,and have now is the bt65 carnivore .30 ... tomorrow my order of .30 jsb's will come in , and the testing will start on this one- can't wait  I bought a 10x40x60 scope for this one thinking  this will be accurate out 100 plus yard's ... Bwalton has proven these .30's have it ,if you get a good one ...cross my fingers !

Read some reviews stating the Bullboss and long Gladius were pretty equal in performance.

Cool ... if you are getting the BWalton tuned gun .30 ...FANTASTIC !  ... I have watched his youtube shots at a 100 + ...yards dang ! his .30 is lights out at 100 + yards ... its really as good as it gets ! ... BWalton customer .30 results 

 as far as the stock swapping goes I don't know .. as soon as my bullboss gets in I will check it out.... Jim Chapman touching some hogs with the bullboss .25 ...

What hight rings did you use on your .30? 
I ended up ordering high rings for mine.  I have a 56mm to put on it when it come in.   From the little math I did, medium rings would have left .15" under the 56mm objective.  A little to close for me,  but depending on how high it is with the high rings ill give the mediums a try.

And yes the .30 is being tuned by him.

especially now when hatsan makes 25 cal ammo cheap as dirt.. as does crosman.. 7 yrs ago when I had my 25 marauder, ammo was more than triple 22 ammo

my ring height on the .30 is .. 1.1 actual sight height ....I have about 3/16 or so clearance on that 60 mm to the barrel ,the 60 HIRAM has multi coated lenses and etched in the glass reticle  , I also noticed on this scope the whole inside of the scope does not light up just the very fine cross hairs and mildots when you turn on the battery pack ...

this is a bargain scope with the better features you would find on the high end brand name scopes ...you can see the difference outside during the day on scope lenses here since we are having a lot of overcast darker days ... this 60 is staying well lit up with these low light conditions ...

did some shooting and tunning on the .30 getting   jsb44 ..880-890fps for 9 shots at 2800psi fill and the last shot on the second clip is 850fps .... and I mean PIN POINT accuracy at 50 yards .. just as good as  my .25's are no doubt ! more testing ahead on this .30 for sure ...

back to the .25 bullboss mine is on the way in ... I decided after testing the new HIRAM scope on the .30 that it was a no brainer to put one on the bullboss so I ordered it up ... $110 shipped fleebay ...

Very similar to my experiences, but with Marauders.  My .22 is tuned for 31fpe and the .25 for 56fpe.  Big difference in satisfaction between the two.  I rarely pull the .22 out anymore except for birds.  I am fixing to crank up the power on my .25 even more and see how it does.  Undetermined yet as to whether I will leave it that way or bring it back down to 56fpe which is working quite well for me currently.

yep ... and if you buy a .30 the .25 might rarely get pulled out ... for hunting that is ...the .25 is way cheaper to shoot.
ammo in .30 is way over priced .... I think soon we will be able to cast our own like we do with the bigger stuff ,I am just waiting for more test results on .25 and .30 designs that are just coming out ...

Todays observations........
At44 .22 tuned it to shoot 21 grain cudas at 900fps

Boss .25 shooting 25 grain jsb at 900 fps

Placed cans out to 50-110-150 and 230 yards.
On chairgun the boss only had 16fpe at 150 yards
The at44 had 14fpe
At that power level at 150 yards would 2 fpe matter since it would probly not expand the lead?

My AT44 seemed eaiser to hit the targets with.Its more accurate than my boss at this time.AT44 sports the hatsan air stripper.

Im confussed about my results.

I need to buy the .22  mk2 25 grains and re test.
On chairgun the flight trajectories look close.

So until then my at44 will be my sniper combo.Shooting about 1.5" groups at 110 yards just on a bipod.

Boss is about a 2" but not broken in yet and out the box performance besides adding a full turn more hammer preload to try to launch 33 grains faster.
So far I like the 25 grain performance.

Sounding like I'm going to have a really fun summer!

I think in the beginning I'll just run my Hawke XB30 IR SR compact and decide if I get something different down the road. Picked up the XB30 for First strike rounds in Paintball but the fields have not been FSR friendly since I bought it and decided to stick with round ball so I have never used it. 

Midwayusa had a sale going on so I grabbed a tin of H&N Sport Field Target Trophy (19.91gr), Grizzly (31gr), and Baracuda Hunter Extreme. Still have the JSBs in my saved list on Amazon to order down the road.

You guys carry your magazines in anything special or just your pocket?
