I'm watching this. Does the scope AO go low enough to focus at 10yds or less? If so, at what power is it still clear?
Please tell me if this is correct. With a first focal plane scope, the mil dots are 1 mil apart on the target from 4x to 14x or the full range of powers. With a second focal plane scope, the mill dots are 1 mil apart only at the maximum magnification which is 14x for this scope. The first focal plane scopes are usually more expensive.
What would be a decent, lower-cost set of two-piece rings for this scope? Rifle will be a .25 SynRod. Also what would be a decent side-focus wheel?
Better quality than UTG is good.On a side note, how would a Hawke Vantage SF 4-16×44 ½ Mil Dot scope for $189 compare to this BSA? I realize the Hawke is second focal plane. I'm also a little leery of the reports I've read concerning dealing with BSA for warranty concerns in more recent years.http://us.hawkeoptics.com/vantage-side-focus-4-16x44-mil-dot.html
