Would like some suggestions/opinions on barrels for CCS 1300 KT (.22 cal) My choices really boil down to either the 10" LW or the Crosman 18". Comments please. Would be using the shoulder stock option.

I would go with the 14.6" Lothar Walther Match Barrel (.22 caliber) and add a Rocker1 LDC.. You'll have the accuracy and quietness that is outstanding.
My 1322 as a carbine with a 14" barrel and it is pretty cool to shoot.

That's the way I'm leaning. but now you have to educate me. Where do I find the Rocker1 LDC? ???

Does anyone have the part # for the LW 14.5 .22 barrel the ccs now offers? I've heard sometimes you can get ccs parts without a serial # ? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

The part number for the LW 14.6" barrel is P1300-116.
Talked to two crosman people, one said it would have to be a barrel to barrel replacement.  So I would had to purchase a CCS gun with that barrel and provide such info.
The second said they had non in stock, asked where I got part number, also asked for CCS info.
So it sounds to me as though you got to find a special person to get one or they heard people were selling them and shut it down.
Also neither would give a cost.

You know the .22 14.6 LW barrel is now an option on the CSS 1300KT, right?

Right...was just thinking the 10" for the pistol look or the 18" for rifle. I actually am beginning to think (from all I've read) that the 14.6 LW is the best choice. I have a 2300KT on order with Crosman 10' barrel; if it turns out to be one of the bad ones, I will order the 14.6" LW and swap it out.  :D

When I was talking to Crosman a few weeks back, the gentleman I spoke to explained you have to buy a CCS airgun with the LW barrel in order to be able to order a new LW barrel.  If your CCS gun did not come with one, too bad.

I will add my 2400KT with a Crosman .22 18" barrel is very accurate, so wile the LW's accuracy is a given, why not give the Crosman barrel a chance?  I've been shooting 25 yard cloverleafs with several different pellets, and for a gun that cost less than $90 delivered, I can't complain one bit.

Like numerous other members here, I have a small pile of David (Rocker1's) LDCs.  His carbon-fiber silencers are especially sweet.

For a pumper, I feel the 14.6 barrel would make for a perfect compact carbine.

I, for sure & have done, would go with the LW 14" barrel.  Just a great choice as there seems to be no negative comments about an LW barrel.   Just go w/the best.

ummm..NO, you don't have to  buy an LW barreled custom shop gun to able to buy LW barrels from Crosman....you have to buy a custom shop gun to buy any other custom shop parts....the 14.6" LW barrels are NOT YET available for individual sale....as of when i tried to buy about 3 weeks ago....so to get a 14.6" LW barrel you 2 options.....buy a custom shop gun with one or buy a barrel from an aftermarket supplier that buys custom shop guns and breaks them down and sells the parts.....

I guess you did not understand my previous post?  I said exactly what the guy at Crosman told me.  He said in order for me to buy the CCS LW barrel separately, I would need to buy my CCS gun with the LW barrel already.  Since I did not, it was not an option.  I could have bought any other non-LW barrels had I wanted to, but not the LW barrels as Crosman does not want to blow through their stock of LW barrels.   IE: it was not available as an option for individual sale unless a prior purchase was made that utilized the LW barrel.  I just put emphasis on your statement that I said in my prior post.  Thank you for reiterating my initial statement.

You can buy the 22 cal 14" LW barrel on EBay.
Alchemy AirWerks has them. About $100 delivered.
I've bought several from him when they were less expensive.

I heard a couple of years ago that Crosman had improved their .22 barrels.  I've never seen it proven yet.  Maybe I should buy a new 18" .22 barrel and compare it to one of my old ones. Push a pellet through, inspect and shoot groups with each one. I may do that at some point, but too many gun things to do right now.  Regards, Tom

I just got a custom 1322 from Alchemy Air Werks with an 18" Crosman barrel.  David there crowned it before sending.  I don't have much experience with it yet, but I've been shooting dime-size groups at 15 yards, and I can see in the scope that that's how much I'm shaking.  I'm anxious to see how much tighter it gets after I get a shooting bag so I can eliminate most of the shaking and find out what the gun is really capable of.  FWIW, I'm using the 18.13gr JSB Exact Jumbo Heavys.

I originally planned to get the 24" barrel, but someone here on the forum said it was ridiculously long; so I went for the 18".  Now I think the 18" is very short for a rifle, and kind of wish I had gone for the 24" to get a little more muzzle velocity.  We'll see what I think after the 6.5" LDC arrives for it.
