Snowed here ALL DAY! So I shot the new Red Rider in the garage at about 12'.
Little sucker is pretty accurate and will help me keep practicing "Off Hand" this winter.

Today wasn't as nice as the weekend but after Mrs. Oldgringo and I hooked up a new Sound Bar to our LR TV, I stepped out on the patio and shot some 20 pellets through my peep sighted HW30S and another 20 or so through my HW50S, first at my new and improved spinner spoons and then at paper targets with the 50S.

I'm growing more fonder for my kleine frauleins by the day.

Took Prince Ronin for a spin. Ran some NOE casted pellets through it and settled on the 90gr. and was also happy with the 80 gr. ones as well but it didn't like the 100gr offering. The Ataman is really starting to grow on me, still getting use the bully style.

Didn’t get to shoot a whole lot, but did put 3 JSBs in one ragged hole at 30 meters with the LGU just before it got dark.

Nothing!  Had an appointment with the Dermatologist who put a couple more scars on my rugged outdoorsy, but otherwise handsome face. Tomorrow, maybe I can get in a few shots, before and after, Mrs. Oldgringo wraps up her Thanksgiving blessing for two.

I put a peep sight on my HW30. Its good to be free of glass. What a wonderful little rifle.

Also shot the HW95 some. Still getting used to it even though it has calmed down some. I am starting to think that this one wants its barrel cleaned every few hundred shots. I am almost as accurate with it as the 30 and then I start gradually scattering shots.

Last week I thought it was me and my inconsistency. Then I cleaned the barrel and wow, I could shoot accurately again.

Then FexEx dropped off 4,000 more pellets!

I took the long way home through the national forest after my PT appointment in town this morning.  I stopped at a little sinkhole lake off forest road 349 and ate my Hardy's sausage biscuit sitting on the tail gate of my truck.  My Hatsan Striker lying on the truck bed.  I listened to the early morning song birds and hoped that a really dumb squirrel would happen by.  After an hour I packed it in but not before I "checked zero" on a knotty branch 20 yards away.  The big twenty five caliber crow magnums are laser accurate at that range.  If only pine knots were edible.

Fired one shot into a stack of 3 brownies.  EDgun matador, .25 hades pellet @ 925 fps. range, 25 yards

Pretty good damage. Had a pic but some how deleted it from my phone. The pellet plowed a hole through the third brownie as big as my fat index finger.

I'm at a point in life where sugar is bad. SIL bought them last week, then left for home. Those dratted brownies have been calling my name for days.

This has been springer week  D460 .177 , Gamo Swarm .22 and D34 .22 All are shooting better than me on the bench one hole groups off hand Meeh!!
