Incredible, a huge difference! Just a pffft... then impact. I just shot another one off for my wife to hear. The illumination on this scope is fantastic, put a spot light on a 30m steel target and zapped it with a CPHP 7.9! Mouse-fart and a ping downrange!

He custom made it from a 1.2”x7” for me, it normally comes with 1/2-20 threads. Send him an email, measure your barrel with a caliper after you get the front sight off about an inch from the crown. Mine was 14.44mm. Geo said he has seen them from 14.2-14.6mm.

All of the Marauders and the TX.
The .177 Marauder is fine.
I am going to have to spend some time on the Marauder Forum to tune the .22 & .25..
The TX is steady, of course.

Fixed back my Crosman 1377 to pistol config., as I had let it as a carbine for too long a while and wanted to see if I was still able to shoot it this way. I wasn't... Removed the LDC, a too heavy one : nothing better. Cleaned the barrel : same pellet spread. Cautiously lightened the trigger : a bit better. Then I realized the rear sight was jiggling and would move at every shot (got the plastic stock breech). Fixed that with some blue Loctite and let it cure a night long, then put a very light LDC on it : everything's OK! Nice airgun ain't it ?

Yesterday, I shot my HW35E, HW97K and my Diana 34. The HW97K is a one-holer with AA 7.87 pellets. The 35E and Diana 34 are pretty good but can't touch the 97K.

Today, it's Beeman R7 and peepsighted HW30S time. YUMMO!

Maybe not, it's awful breezy?

This morning I went out to the local WMA (just across the river from me). I sat for an hour before work but shot no game. I carried my vintage Crosman 1400 and some 18.5gr H&N Baracuda hunters. It was foggy in the woods this morning and their were plenty of birds moving but I didn't even hear a squirrel. On the way back to my truck I shot 3 pellets at cans that I have arranged at different ranges to check my zero. Spot on.

Set up for Gamo red fires and shot water jug at 40yrd and 2 squirrel.

Figured there tipped for expansion I was surprised they all passed through. With the exit hole no bigger then enter hole

Though I can't hunt as airgun hunting is prohibited in my country, I bought a tin of Gamo Red Fires some years ago. They got stuck in a Crosman 2100, 12 pumps behind. Same in a Webley Rebel clone. I could hardly chamber them in my Crosman Vantage NP but they went outside OK. Don't ask me about accuracy...
Concerning expansion, following tests with with some wax figurines, rotten oranges or pomegranates, I'd suggest H&N Barracuda Hunter Extremes with 700 fps rifles and over, and H&N Terminators for those under. These pellets actually expand and accuracy's really OK.

I guess Gamo improved them so far in the last tin all fit good and even . No tight or loose and now of pellets I can buy local there the best grouping now way better then the xmans I been getting during covid. Like xmans just chunking anything in a tin to ship it out...lol... They were my first choice before covid. Now I got 3 tins of cphp and pahrinas I don't even want my time shooting it got that bad with them over the past few months and tins . They went from dead nuts on before covid to sad it'll hit the paper

So far the only bad thing with the gamos is pellet count to price . But heck I'm making all quality shots so am I saving sticking with xmans with far more mis then hit lately? Maybe when xmans gets fully back to work if or when covid gets gone they will get back to what they were. Who knows?

Yep, took the peepsighted HW30S out and hit a couple of spinner spoons. Temp (66°) wasn't bad but that strong north wind took the fun out of it. Now, I'm watching ACC championship soccer.

Well, I did this all by self this time without my sons help, posting a picture. I took my xs60c apart and redid the stock, I really like it so hopefully you will see a picture.

I'm on aquarium forums also and for years people would say send pictures and I would have to say that I don't know how. ( they probably thought what a dumb @@@ ) I tell you what kids are a blessing! Archery range open for business, finally got serious with the airsaber. I'm having to learn how to shoot all over again with it. The first shot is dead on and then it begins to drop quickly on the rest. I have to shoot different targets to keep from stacking the arrows. The arrows hit with authority and bury deep in the target. I get about 20 shots before refill, so follow up shots are doable if need be. The gun is light and easy to carry so that's a plus. Very nice arrow shooter for sure.
