RS78 at 30 yards just testing pellets again to see if there is anything else that it will shoot well, or well enough. Even the worst performers were Minute-of-Can accurate at 30 and probably beyond.

I think that I may be actually selling some stuff off. I always threaten to but I never follow through. This could be the time? Ha ha! Time will tell.

I played with the power adjuster on my 2240. Turned in all the way lowered the fps then went all the way out then back in to 450+fps. I want to get some lighter wadcutters than the crosman 14g and see how it dose on accuracy and shot count with messing with the adjuster. I am not sure about using a 18" barrel is doing any good but I dont think it is hurting much.

If i recall correctly, 14" barrel with co2 is about peak power unless you have enough mods/tuning.

I got home from work yesterday and had an hour before I had to go cook at the Lodge for "Friday Night Dinner". Thought I would clear my head by trying my luck with the NUAH club.
Set the target out to 120 yards and got the table and AA S400 out again.
Wife says, "You don't have time, we need to get going soon."
But it was all set up, so what the heck.... took 5 shots.
Walking out to the target, she calls out the door, "Picking -up?"
.... "Yes Dear".

But I saw they were on paper, a decent group...but a little high and to the left.
Figured I had time for a few more shots. So I adjusted a couple "clicks".

You remember when you were a kid and wasn't ready to come in from playing when your Mom called, but when the third time happened you knew you better listen?

Well when she came out to the car and I was setting at the bench, I recalled it very well.

I had a pellet loaded so I took one last "Hail Mary" and put the gun away. Jumped in the car and left.

Went out this morning picked up, grabbed the target, and DANG..
I was ON IT!
Now if I can only repeat it.

Like your practicing and shooting quite well. Decide to get a match target out, put it up, and your shooting goes all to pot

Going to try my hand with Pistol HFT at Concord, CA tomorrow.
100 shots off of the sticks today..

Apparently the action pistol shooters will be invading our space causing undue amounts of noise..

It's seems to happen when just 'messing around'.. I always push the limits when mom yelled for me the third time and my middle name was yelled, time to get moving or face the whupping..

Shooting the .177 at some Red Ryder targets. Shooting H&N piledrivers. Might pull the Fortitude out in a bit and make sure its all set up for the wife tomorrow. She is going to Fortitude and compressor school tomorrow. That way if she's bored when I'm at work she can do some shooting by herself.

Got my latest acquisition unpacked and had some fun shooting it: a Hammerli 850 Magnum. It's a nice shooting, open sights gun.

Started today with a XisicoXS-25sfb .177 at 30 yards and ended with a Weihrauch 97k .177 at 50 yards then back to 30 yards due to heavy winds. Realy enjoyed the trigger time.

My first one to use. It's a superior sighting mechanism; well, not as superior as a good scope....
