Filled the Carnivore .357 and shot a few of Nick's slugs.
Need to scope it but they chambered really nice and put a few dents in the tree at 50 yards.

Was shooting my 2240 till it emptied, attempting to make ghetto open sights for it, working on the back sight.

It made me remember, while i was away for a while, i had a very memorable experience with a squirrel....

There was a squirrel... my resettable squirrel target that froze his nutz off, i had put peanut butter on the top target, and it was set back (like the target was shot and needed to be reset). A red squirrel(rare to see by/at houses here instead of the woods) was munchin on the peanut butter from the back when i looked out. I grabbed my 1377 (2240 was in pieces and the prod empty), pumped it 12 times and lined up a shot, didnt notice the wind and i shot. The pellet flew downwards and hit the "reset" on the target (i learn later) causing the "peanut butter platter" to smack the squirrel in its chin? Knocked out cold.... picked him up thinking it was a clean kill head shot, saw blood in his mouth thinking it was over.... bagged up and into the trash... 5 minutes later i hear rattling all in the garbage can and i had a heart attack knowing it was the squirrel

opened the lid and that thing FLEW in the air 8 feet out the can onto the tree and ran...

That's hilarious. Thanks for the laugh Skeets. I just shot 16 NSA slugs through my armada. They are Nicks new ones that the machine makes. Chambered very nice and shot very well and hit with authority. I was skeptical since I'm using a MMHF barrel and Jim's bore is very tight. Also with the new machine comes a great price of 18.99 for 275 33.5 gr slugs.

We shoot together often. More so now that school is out and it's warmer weather. Their interest in shooting seems to start fading in their teen years but the older ones will get out there on occasion.

I have had the BSA red dot on it but think I will put a scope back on.

They're definitely worthy of a good scope Scott. I've got a little BugBuster on mine but I'd like something even better like a 4-16X Swat Scope.

Shot some NSA 25 cal slugs in my Armada and they did great. Shot some NSA slugs in the 22 marauder and velocity was way low, switched to AVS slugs and velocity was back to normal. Weird how that works lol. Finished up shooting a mag of JSB 25.39 gr 22 cal pellets and one mag of H&N sniper magnums. The sniper magnums were zinging over 1000fps. Maybe pull out the .177 and shoot that too today. And maybe the fortitude as well. Rained out at work today so I might as well get some shooting in.

Mine came with a Kruger scope that prompted me to buy a 4 pack when they were offered on Ebay CHEAP! Still have 2 new in the box so another will be going on.
The BSA RD-30 was for the "Tacky-Cool" effect but it is better suited for pistol ranges.
The "dot" is just too big for accuracy this gun is capable of, even when turned down to transparency.... covers the bull at longer ranges.

This gun deserves better optics.

This weekend, the Northern California heavy-hitters will be in Oregon, so I thought would try the 1720T at the Diablo FT match in Concord, CA.
Should be good for some laughs not unlike those I received in San Luis Obispo in May..

Using my ABC Targets I had the 3/8” at 10 yards and the 1” at 18....
Not too bad...

That is a nice pistol you got there. Im digging the one-piece handgrip/foregrip, im just not fond of that red, i prefer the colors in both directions of the color palette

pink or orange.
