Today was Monte Carlo 853 day.  I have two Daisy 853's from CMP and love 'em both.  The Stocks on both have been extended to adult LOP's.

The Monte Carlo stocked 853 has been upgraded with Avanti 753 Target sights and puts as many AA 7.33 gr Air Falcons into one single hole as long as you want to shoot at 10M.

Shot my Woodstock 1740 carbine all evening.
3 carts so about 120 shots give or take.
Cranked up the power adjuster a couple clicks and was shooting H&N Barracudas in a dime size group at 20 yards and hitting  spinners out to 30 yards.
Cheap and easy!

Had a little boo boo of overspraying brake cleaner in the barrel of my new Hatsan Flash Pup .177 to clean and having it come outta everywhere.  I cleaned up quick and wiped all down with ballistol and then shot for about an 1 1/2 until most of the vapor quit coming out of the gun.  Waited until yesterday evening to seriously shoot it again and it's dime size groups at 29.5 yards with Crosman 7.9 CPHP's.  I love this gun.  It will go through 2 beer bottles back to back but not 3.... ;D ;D  Hit a rat Tuesday night, heart lung, and it hit with authority!

I can't wait to get out pesting with the 760's! With these modern pellets it likes, it should prove...fatal. Four 760's, no waiting. My wife also got me a Centerpoint 4x32 scope for Father's day, coming in tomorrow she said. (I had to help her with clarifications)That'll go on the 760-B, with lower mounts & weight than this 3-9x32 Centerpoint;

Re-zeroed the AA S400 this time out to 35 yards.
Had to actually LOWER the zero from the previous 20 yards.
Then it Dawned on me. Last time, I had cranked up the FAC knob when the PSI started getting low,  ::)
Set it back to Mid Power and began bulling the "dime challenge" target.

Slammed another 12 rounds thru the Sumatra. Played with the power adjuster a bit to get the feel for it. It has a pretty wide range of power. No wonder is was cannon loud, the power knob was wide open. I may have done that myself during my sleep last night... lol
Betty Lou snatched me away from it to make a run to the grocer. She failed to find the humor when I told her "Dang girl, you just ate yesterday".
Looking forward to the weekend when I can get some trigger time in. 4 tins of EunJin 35.8 came today.

Had an unexpected few days off in a row.  Took out the Revolution out to blow out  the cobwebs of winter ....as well as the Solo.  Guess I needed a FX

The Revo had been in for it's 10 year reseal this winter and while it was in I ordered a second mag for it.  Bad news first they tuned the gun to the "new" (to me)  metal mags.  The plastic wont cycle. I have a Gen. one  Revo so it had the plastic mag and shoots a little hotter.

Since things had changed I decided to try A different pellet it was SUPER picky, JSB Jumbos only.  Nothing else ever EVER cycled.  Now it's shooting Crosman Supermag Domes at almost exactly the same POI as those Jumbos.  Oh heck yeah.  Came home and dumped every Cabelas gift card balance on 12 tins of CMSMDs.  WoooHooo!!!

Saw what I thought was a weasel being chased by squawking birds.  Once I realized what it was, I grabbed the Streamline.  Never saw it after that.  Don’t know if I would have shot it or not, probably not since I don’t know if it’s ok or not.  I do know that I have lost chicks in the past to a weasel.  I would have at least scoped it and sighted in on it.  I shot the 11 shots in the magazine at mole hills, spinners and a rock.  Fun stuff!

Had a squirrel hanging upside down from the feeder with safflower seeds.
Took the 2400kt out and since tree rats aren't yet in season decided to try and hit the 1/2" metal pole to scare it off.

Using a red dot sight at 33yrds, that .177 cphp struck the pole and that squirrel jumped and ran!  It may have been a fluke shot, but I'll take it!

Shot some horse flies and a dragon fly around a mudhole on my property.  Used my Sheridan CO2 pistol.  Missed a lot too but could see where from the hole in the mud.

You hit it right there Brett. With temps and humidity both well into the 90's it's a bit uncomfortable here for my old northern raised butt. I have a large fan at my shooting bench but that's like sitting under a hair dryer on high.

Shot the Hatsan Flash Pup for a few hours last night - 100 rounds or so of CPHP's at 1/4" targets at 29.5".  Hit a few, missed a lot; filmed on Marco Polo the gun in .177 shooting through 4 eggs.  Just for the yolk of it.

Working in the yard all day with "breaks" for shooting.

Afterwards, I'm putting everything away when i see the golf tee at 25yrds.  I figure, let's give the 2400kt a try.  Off with it's head!

So, i replace it with a new tee and a paintball on top.  1 shot 1 kill.

I never expected this thing to be so accurate!
