Got in two practice sessions today--early and late. Shot my HW95 this morning. It was just spot on with my paper targets at 13 yards. This afternoon, I finally matched my H&N Sniper mediums with my HW97K, which loved them. Wow, what a superb shooting session late this afternoon.

Having lots of fun.

I decided to take five shots at a target a little while ago with my Crosman 150, it's the only shooting I've done today, I did do some casting up of .25 cal Hunters this morning.

When you shoot that well, you don't need to practice so much.

I shot about a dozen rounds out of the Titan for practice yesterday afternoon. It was hot as *(&^ I was sweating a lot just sitting and cocking the Titan.

Then took a brief break into the air conditioned shed to cool off. While in there I heard the wind pick up and it got darker out. Quick check of the radar sent me scrambling to pick everything up.

Typical weather every day HOT and HUMID!

So far, one Chipmunk. Sorry no pics. Head shot, entry just behind right eye, exit @ left rear cheek/jaw. Complete pass through.

Low power (741 fps/12+fpe) with Nova Freedom and Crosman Premiere Domed (brown box) 10.5 grains, ~15 yards +/-.

Rodent dropped DRT. No twitching or moving.

Now I hope the luckiest Squirrel in the world comes into view in the next hour or 2! (chuckle)

I have missed him more times than I like to admit!

Thank you Andrew and Archie! It is nice to have my own place to shoot right off the back of the house AND my own shooting buddies. I get to use them as excuses to but more airguns but that is starting to run thin. Ha ha! Sean, the youngest lives being out there and shooting. He really enjoys it. He will stay out there as long as I am out there and long after the others have gotten voted out hungry and have wandered off.

Decided to try my home cast 20 gr. .22 cal. NOE hunter pellets in my P-Rod

accurate at 580 fps, and hit hard down range

Shooting in its sweet spot from 2800 psi to 1200 psi.
For pellet weight:

From the "tin can test at 15 yards it easily went through both sides of one of those metal trash cans with slip fit lids, hope it didn't go through my water filled lawn roller too. $:-\$

Been shooting the 2400KT with RWS Hobby WC frequently, and the CZ-634 with Gamo RedFires.

Purpose of said shots?

Squirrelicide. Every time I step outside, the Cardinals and Chickadees swarm the back deck as if trying to get my attention.

HW80 .177 since the crack of dawn. I've put a different scope on it and during sighting in I've enjoyed the 80 like an old friend! It is accurate with the newer arrangement, and vibration has significantly dropped to the noise level of my HW50's!

The 80 has a right hand stock with palm swell--this slightly different stock configuration slips into a comfortable shooting grip for my trigger finger--and thick under barrel smooth (not checkered) stock, making the shooting almost as comfortable as a standing target rifle.

I shot a plank of hardwood 3/4" thick with the HW80 and the HW35E: The pellets went through from BOTH rifles at 20 yards! All the way through! I was very surprise because pellets from my R7 .177 bounce!

One tree rat... but not the one that I have missed too many times to admit.

Shoulder shot at ~17 yards. He ran about 5 feet and dropped. No more movement.

No pass through this time and I definitely heard the SMACK of the pellet!

Today i celebrated my last day at work for 4 1/2 weeks of summer wakation, and what better way than with burgers and hw30s? And found a "new" pellet for my 177, started of with jsb 8.44 but they where a bit inconsistent, they could group well at my target at 25 meters and then throw away a pellet high or low or to the sides, it was very windy so i thought that was the trouble also, shot one ok 5 shot target, the one in the picture, out of maybe 10 targets, then i tried jsb rs 7.33 and they where grouping much better! I only shot 2 targets, and only one 5 shot target, the hole right under the 9 was my bad, i need to test them more when i have the time

I did a little shooting with ART (PP700SA) again. I was seated and resting off my hand rested on my knee. I was trying out the new 3-12x32 bugbuster scope with side focus. That’s a sweet little scope! It’s a bit soft around the edges but I like the Mil-Dot Reticle and it’s nice and compact. I was shooting at random things from close as 7-8 yards out to 55 yards. It’s surprising how well that little pistol/carbine shoots. It’s not a target gun but it would be a great hunter. I’m really pleased with its performance and it looks cool too!
