I almost thought about shooting that woman that dug around in my arm with that needle to draw blood today. She ended up only getting a vial and a half instead of 2. Then she dropped one on the floor. I told her that the first vial better be enough because she ain't sticking me again.
I have a whole sleeve of tattoos and have no fear of needles but, that woman was drilling for oil. You can't get blood when you run the needle through the vein and out the other side.
OUCH!  That doesnít sound like a good time.

I am a phlebotomists dream.  I have the Amazon river of veins running down my arms.  Thatís extra good for me when itís time to donate.
Yeah, I didn't even get orange juice and a cookie.... just a co-pay.
My wife never misses when she draws blood in fact the Dr's at the out patient HEMONC where she works call her the vein whisperer. They usually call on her when they have to draw blood or put in IVs on the young babies that come in for chemo treatments

Good luck.

Thanks. I got worried when I seen the print out of the stickers. I doubt I'll be shooting any bit today :P

;) ;D Try to remember that even if that was a tube for each sticker the total volume is probably only a few ounces. I guess I am lucky most of my blood draws are one stick and done. I have only had a med tec try to dig for oil once and as soon as she started fishing I told her to take the needle out of my arm and send in somebody who knew what they were doing.  >:( ;)

LOL @ bloodwork.  I maxed out the limit of how much blood can be drawn daily for a 2 week period of time while I was in boot camp.  Turned out the blithering idiots in Navy World Orlando (where I went to boot camp) got my blood and somebody else's mixed up.  I recall distinctly "how'd this guy go from A positive to O negative?"  Frickin' poser wannabe medical "professionals".  Almost as fun as when they pulled my wisdom teeth without anesthetic, or as I tell friends, "How I discovered I have a very high pain tolerance"

I took a few shots with my B-3 Underlaser, I mean lever.  It's pellet-picky, but the right pellets are OMGAccurate.

Had one of 2 bad upper wisdom teeth pulled when stationed in Charleston SC aboard the H.W. Gilmore AS 16 woke up the next morning with the right side of my face and the pillow covered in blood. Needless to say they did not get to remove the upper left wisdom tooth  >:( >:( :o

Took my Disco .22 to the range today after cleaning the barrel and giving it a 2 screw trigger mod.  Last week I was lucky to get my groups under 2 inches at 25 yards, today...  well... it was much, much better.  This is 5 rounds.  Not the only single hole group of the day, but one of the smallest.

Nothing today, winds wreaking havoc around here, staying indoors, do not want to be out with the "leaner" trees. More trees will probably come down with this approaching front. Just one of the side effects after a major hurricane. It would be a great challenge, I just don't feel like spending the rest of the day in the ER or morgue. :-\

You must be in my neck of the woods. Wind gusts today were incredible! I thought for sure another tree or three would fall but so far they haven't. I have three trees in my back yard slated for removal in March so storms like these make me very nervous. I had two out front taken down this month. One was hanging on by a thread. It surely would have been down and wreaked havoc today! Phew! ;)

I actually went out and shot some but not for long! Like you I watched some of those leaners sway and hiss with the gusts. Well I ran out of daylight so retreated :D

Keeping my fingers crossed!

It's not only the leaners but broken tops and branches that are just dangling off the ground. Those will get airborne as well. More rain is not helping either. My property is still wet and will flood in heavy rains. Just making the most of a bad situation and taking it one day at a time.

I figured as long as I was awake having a cup of coffee I'd take a five shot group with my newest old gun.  It still amazes me that soaking a vintage used poppet for this gun prior to receiving it in the mail would give me a good seal but it did. I did a complete overhaul of the gun though with new o rings and lube throughout prior to assembling. What I'd really like to do is attempt to make my own poppets for these guns, any good recommended material's would be much appreciated.
                                      Thanks

Windy, some said ? 125 km/h means about 78mph and it's a bit too much, you know. I can't keep taking care of twigs or even branches that could fall on my head and try to shoot decently at the same time. Time for a good cuppa, as the British say...
