Been shooting the dragonfly in .22 and I am sore. I think the gun is breaking me in, Instead of the other way around.  ;)
I understand and complain... That's the reason why I said before "we're taming each other": Got blister in my hand between thumb and index and a sore arm. :o
More worrying  : I hear an unpleasant scraping  noise from  metal against metal when opening the pump and the pump body shows regular scratches all along the lever path -but the lever never touches the pump body. Then what  !? Reluctant to disassemble anything so early, as it's getting more and more accurate, so I keep shooting, and may be my left arm is going to be as strong as the right one  ;D

Have you lubed anything on this rifle? I have also noticed I can adjust the hit of the pump handle with screws on the side pump handle.

Today my son n law shot his QB Chief in 22 and I shot my JM 22.  The cheif is breaking in nicely. Still need to do some trigger work on it but other than that it shoots good.

Dug out the Sentry and mounted a new scope.
Sighted it in to "good enough" in 8 shots (one mag) out to 35 yards.
Then shot 7 more magazines of 8 testing different pellets until the POI started to fall.
DANG.... I LOVE this gun with JSB 18.13's!

Nothing yet.....

Hawke sent my Sidewinder back and it came in today.  They just sent a new one instead of repairing the old.  Took the SWFA off the Streamline and mounted the Sidewinder on it.  Put the SWFA back on the HW97K where it belongs.  I hope to get a sight in session tonight with the SW on the SL.

Been thinking about either selling the FWB300S or shooting it.  Not sure yet.

Shot the SL and got the scope sighted in.  AWESOME!  I had been shooting with 12x.  Going back to 20x is nice.

I had my partner Sean out there with me.  He manned the Slavia while I manned the SL.

Have you lubed anything on this rifle? I have also noticed I can adjust the hit of the pump handle with screws on the side pump handle.

Yes I lubed what was needed (axis, pump piston, etc.), sparingly and with the air tool oil some GTA experts had advised. No real difference -I mean, about that scraping noise.

Now to get some rest  ;D I got back to my Vantage NP. Got rid of a luxurious rear sight I had retrieved in my spare parts B¨%$el : every times I cocked the rifle, its windage AND elevation settings would move, because they were chafing on the fore end of the wood stock!!! So I put the modest stock rear sight back on it.  It has never been so accurate ! How d'you say ? The best is the enemy of good.

.177 Hatsan Flash pup.  Gonna do it again tonight.  Gun is breaking in and seems to like, of all things, the 7.9 CPHP's from Walmart.  Better then H&N's or JSB's.  Weird.

Tonight I shot the best ever with my QB58.
Punching paper at 20 yards attached is my best 5 shot group.
Then about 50 shots at knock downs and spinners from 25-30 yards. The last shot of the night was off hand standing at 30 yards to a knock-down Boar... and even nailed THAT!  8)
Felt good... REAL GOOD ;D

The last couple of days I've become reacquainted with my JM kitted HW50S.  She wears a Hawke 3-9x40 Air Max scope and is quite lovely.  I moved the scope one pin hole forward today and that definitely improved the sight picture.

Yesterday and again today, she produced 5 shot ragged holes ~3/8" ctc - off the bench. Her favorite pellet is the 7.87 gr JSB Express which she sends down range at an average speed of 708 fps.  What a joy this fraulein is to shoot.

That’s awesome Greg!   I love hearing about your fraulein reports.  I enjoy mine too.  In fact, tomorrow might have to be German springer day.  I have some new wadcutter pellets to try in the FWB300S.  I also remounted a scope on my HW97K and need to resight it.

My Hatsan Bullboss .25 finally reaching out to 25 and 50 yards!  It was a gorgeous day yesterday and I was needing a break from a ton of catch up and just regular yard work, so I just grabbed my Bullboss and a mag with JSB Exact 25.39 gr., my little video camera, and out to the yard and barn I went. Two issues I found hindering me was I had just then remembered I removed and remounted the scope previously and had not re-sighted it in, and I was down to only 150 Bar or less. But I just wanted to give it a shot or two anyway, what the heck. I didn't do as well at 50 yds as I'd have like too, but at least I finally reached out that far with an air gun. I have some ideas on what happened with my grouping, so next time it'll be better I'm sure.

I made a little video just because I usually do, and I think it's like 7 mins or so long.

Thanks Dinh!  He’s my shadow.

Tonight was back to the SL.  I shot a 230b fill down to 100b on medium power (2).  I got 9 magazines (99 shot) through it but the last mag was seriously dropping POI at 50 and spraying the pellets so 8 mags on medium to be effective at 50 yards.

Next up was the FWB300S.  I have some new wadcutters to test and I set up a target at 17 yards.  I took two sighters to adjust the scope for zero and 2 test shots, one to make a hole to aim at the the other to see how it grouped.  Right on the money!  Then I proceeded to start to shoot a target that a fellow shooter sent to me.  They shoot 17 yard indoor benchrest at these targets. They are not just round bullseyes.  They are many different targets.

Tonights target was a cartoon duck walking in the rain with an umbrella ☔️.  The instructions are to shoot one pellet in each raindrop, one pellet touching each eye and 13 pellets in the puddle, not touching each other and not touching the boots.  He has a bunch of them that he makes up and they are VERY challenging.  It’s requires a VERY PRECISE shooting airgun to do well on these targets.  He has sent me a few of them with different objects and requirements.

Anyway, all that to say, I got sidetracked and was only able to get three of the raindrops shot and my attention was needed elsewhere.  I had challenges at the ping pong table that needed to be settled dad style.  Ha ha!
