Put some more lead through the Benjamin Wildfire on CO2.

I should really look into running my Wildfire CO2

I found that the valve behind the hammer was the leak, so replaced it. (I ordered the one for 1077. It's the same)
 Then replaced both hammer AND spring with those of a 1077.  Heavy hammer and spring for PCP is what made the valve go South. JMHO.
 Fill the tube with CO2 and you get many shots.

I did all the mods (You Tube) and even replaced the trigger with an adjustable one.

Shot 30 rounds through one of my two PINTY carbines. When I miss what I'm trying to hit while shooting this PCP, it's always my fault.

Topped the P-Force Tactical up and set up on the front yard range shooting from the front deck. I had cast a batch of around 200 BBT slugs yesterday morning and shot 60 or so of those from that single fill. I was shooting at 40ish yards and hitting everything I aimed at. The water retention swamp pond is behind my targets and the sound of those slugs smacking the water and the huge splash was very cool.
I really like this gun and shooting my own cast lead is just icing on the cake.

Still nothing

I think about most days but I just end up getting busy and the daylight out motivation passes so I fine get out there.  It’s still just a bit chilly out so I haven’t gotten out to shoot at night.  I just picked up a really nice rechargeable LED work light from Costco that will be perfect for night time shooting.  I don’t think it’s water resistant though.  I’ll have to look at that.


But being here and still posting is better than nothing 👍

I felt like shooting my '62 Crosman 400 today.
For some reason it won't seal with just 1 cartridge and after not shooting it awhile it's slow to seal the 1st time with 2 cartridges.
Otherwise when it does seal it holds pressure great and it's a good shooter.

It feeds pretty well with CPHP'S if I run the bolt with authority, a little better with wadcutters but not enough that they're all I'll ever feed it.

 I took a shot with my pp700sa .11 on my shop target box, to make sure it was still dead on with Knockout 10.01gr slugs, this time standing off hand, not as close as the last 2 rested shots from earlier in the week, but still a dead Hosp in a barn or the like

 After work I rolled up by the barn with the P-Tact and GGT slugs at the ready. I get on a Hosp then wiggle a smidge to get a better brace, and dang if the shot didn't go off prematurely. Bummer was I was shooting it loud n proud, as I have the LDC on the P-Carbine for some indoor shooting at home Mission accomplished all unwanted critters scattered for the night LOL

About two dozen shots with the Crosman 3622.  Ruger SuperPoints at various targets.

The so accurate it's almost boring Notos loves the Fx F(Hades).  One clip holding 1/2mil over for 10-12M
Turned the power wheel down to 5-5 on the CondorSS for the NSA 27gr HPs and held 2 dots over for close range.
Second target is 10 shots.
At PW 5-5 I had plenty air left after 25 shots.  More than enough for a long woods walk.

This was yesterday evening. I installed a sling stud onto my new Pinty bullpup, so I could utilize my UTG Recon 360 bipod. Works great since my shooting table, that's set on gravel, typically doesn't sit flat. The Recon allows for easy canting. I shot around 50 rounds at steel spinners, set from 25yd-55yd.
Fun shooting on a warm, beautiful day!

 Brought the Tech Force 79 down on the back lawn to try out on a soup can. 
Understood it was a target rifle but maybe it got beefed up a bit.
No problem going through both sides of the can, but would only deep dent the bottom thicker end.

 Started out with the Crosman 362,
 then the 1322 with carbine stock (open sights)
then the 2240 carbine with Baker Aluminum Breech, scope and 14.5" barrel
and ended with the Crosman 400 Repeater!

AV Avenger .25 with my cast 251 27 RF cast pellets. Culled them to 27.20 - 27.70 and they shoot great.

 Yesterday update, I shot the P-Force a bit just plinking with Normas, then later on I brought out the Barra 250z, and did some target work, main reason was I wanted to test, or re test if the zero on my bargain NV stayed when no juice. So then removed the battery, waited about 20 minutes and reinstalled it, to see if my zero stayed in some sort of memory chip, and it did.
