I shot FrankenDaisy at 50' targets and it was a little bit of hit and miss.

I am out of the R 10s 7.0gr and was shooting the MiesterKugeln 7.0gr and it would be fine and dandy
with a lot of same hole shots, then 2 or 3 fliers in a row would ruin a nice run at the same hole. missing
by sometimes as much as .187".

I need to order some more R 10s.

I’m shooting Meisterkugeln 7.0 gr pellets in the P3 because I bought a lot of them before I noticed occasional similar or worse inconsistency with front-rested indoor shots, at short distance too (17’ and 19’). When shooting offhand, I assume bad shots are almost always my own wobbliness, but with a front rest this isn’t a factor. Decided that when those pellets ran out I was switching over to the pricier R10. I still think the Meisterkugeln are pretty good, just might have more variation in the pellets.

Something that the P3 made obvious is pellet skirt diameter variability. The first tin of pellets I got for that gun was R10. They fit very snugly. When I started buying Meisterkugeln, those pellets varied palpably in how they fit. Some dropped in like maybe they were too small, while others went in without resistance but still not as snug as the R10.

I don’t know if this is the reason for the odd shots, but after shooting more R10 pellets I will know. Also, when I was getting those flyers in one session, I grabbed some 8.3 gr Superdome pellets for comparison. No flyers. The Superdomes also fit more snugly in the P3, similar to the R10.

The Miesterkugeln 7.0gr are good for Pistol plinking, but for precision targeting not so much.
The 7.0 R 10s, so far shoot the best out of the 853s. for me.
I shoot the 7.0s for a faster FPS and hopefully a flatter trajectory.

I dumped a bucket of fish heads and guts in the one of our composters a couple of nights back.  Early this a.m. I heard a commotion in the backyard. Sounded like a couple of of trash pandas fighting. I grabbed my Hatsan mod 135 and went upstairs where the bathroom window overlooks the yard.  Out the window I could see a dark shape moving around the composters.  The mod 135 does not have a tactical light mounted but the composters are sort of my bait station so I have mounted a switch for the backyard flood lights in the upstairs bathroom.
When the lights came on I realized that my night time marauders were three armadillos.  An armadillo’s head is a tiny target at the best of times. Moving, in uncertain light, and shooting downhill at a steep angle, I opted for a shoulder shot which I know will incapacitate a dilla’.  The range was about 20 yards and the Pellet actually knocked the critter down! It ran, but not far. The dogs found the carcass about fifty yards away (under one of our outbuildings of course) this morning. 
Better news is Flash found the armadillo’s burrow so the next step is to set up a blind where I can watch it.

Interesting comments.   I shoot a lot of Meisterkugelns through my IZH46M and FWB 601, between 99 and 100% offhand, 7.0s for the pistol and 8.2s for the rifle.  There is a possibility that I've had flyers that were the fault of the pellets but at my skill level, offhand, I've never noticed.  About once a year I carefully check the sighting in adjustments on the pistol.   I do this off a rest using the Meisterkugelns.  I don't recall ever having a flyer (rested) but that could be my failing memory LOL.   In the past I used some cheap Daisy pellets.  Occasionally one would be loose fitting, it would drop straight through the barrel onto the floor.   When I rechambered those, they were always spectacular flyers, even offhand. 

With the FWB 601, I don't recall ever having a flyer, with any pellet, off of a rest.  That could also be my failing memory.   Unless shooting a 9 instead of a 10 is considered a flyer.   The 10 on a 10 meter rifle target is the size of a period so I've always attributed the (rested) 9s to my skill level.   With the 601, I use the Meisters for practice and R-10s for competition.  I've thrown plenty of offhanded flyers with both pellets.  For me, I think using the R10s is mostly a psychological boost.   I'm done with cheap pellets in competition guns.   I have lots of cheap pellets to shoot up in other guns.   All that said, my AG/pellet/accuracy record keeping is nothing spectacular either.

Even the loosest fitting Meisterkugeln never fell out of the P3’s barrel! Yikes. The tightest ones’ skirts would stand a tad proud but the gun would still latch closed without any problem.

I still have more Meisterkugeln 7 gr pellets than I do R10 7 gr pellets. Most of my shooting is offhand anyway, so there’s more error due to Just Me than can be attributed to pellet variability. But I plan to stick with the R10 in future orders. The gun also seems to like Superdome 8.3 gr pellets.

 Yup it's in .20 Carter, now I have 2 AF guns in .20, but will most likely convert the other back to .22 and slugs. Armadillo like Woodchuck on the 1/2 shell
 PS I did shoot a few shots out of the Talon, then took the Chaser pistol out as my lawn mower assault gun, was too hot for pest though

Probably continue the tethering experience today. On deck are the Fortitude and the Flash QE in 3k and the FD-PCP in just under 2k. My 30 minute firefighter's tank is down to around 1700 psi which is perfect for that gun.

Feeling pretty lethargic.  I thought my Covid was gone but it's almost like a little relapse.  Anyways I felt like some lazy shooting so I pulled out the S&W 78G.  90 degrees so perfect CO2 weather.   Did some plinking at whatever random metal was around the back yard.  All shooting was from a comfortable deck chair instead of offhand.   Got either 65 or 70 full power shots from one CO2 cartridge.   That's the most I've ever managed but today was the hottest day I've ever shot it.  If only it had a better trigger and some way to mount an optic.

It took me a few weeks after getting COVID to regain normal energy level.

The heat isn’t helpful for recovery, either. Keep a big pitcher of iced tea next to your deck chair?

Today I shot Eve dialing it in for 10m using a 3-10 SvBony scope.
I'm also doing a lot of experimenting with the hold. A firm but not tight hold seems to be working at
the moment.

It's modeled after the Sig Sauer p230 which is essentially a copy of the Walther PP / PPK, and the soviet Makarov is also essentially a copy of the walther so it makes sense that this would look similar to you.

Hey, Bill, then I have a question for you.

I have a co2 cartridge face seal for a  Crosman 2240. Would that work in the P23? as they both take the same cartridges...

 Hoping to get the parts from Game to replace that key ring I stuck on there to try it out.
 It did shoot a number of times, and then hissed at me! Took the empty cart out and some seal came with it.

 o ring on top of the cart, or did you go into the valve? 
I just tried an oiled o ring on top of the cart and I'm still getting a bit of hissing.
