Tom the answer to #2 is yes for #1 talk to Lloyd Sike you can probably have him make you a new tube or for what I think you are trying to do have him machine a Titanium tube to cut weight by about a pound or more. Just saying

You can get in contact with Dave at R. Arms Innovations. He made me a Gen 2 tube for a build and last I was in contact with him he had some on hand. And as a bonus he's top notch to deal with. Chris
So, does anyone know if I am able to shorten a Gen2 Mrod tube to 11.75", no problem? Or am I going to run into issues with the hole for the gauge?I did get a reply back from R. Arms Innovations... I'll go this route if I have to, but he doesn't have any in stock at the moment anyway...
