When its wet outside, I shoot my PRod in my 15ft basement pistol "range"I agree, but only if he gets a good one. My new Prod is NOT accurate at all, with anything...yet...I only kept the POS because I like everything else about the little cutie, and I know I can iron her out...eventually... And I have other guns that never give me a problem, such as the HW110...There were NO extra customs charges or anything like that with my purchase. They opened up the box, peeked inside, and rubber-stamped it. No worries...At the time, I think I paid about $835 for the gun, $13 credit card fee, and $49 for shipping, sooo, what? $897 to my door...Add one Amazon hand pump, a bunch of .22 pellets, a $9 foster fitting adaptor from PA, and you are out shooting in your yard, and still under budget enough to order pizzas and beverages...Your choice, really, wanna be shooting by, saaay, Monday? Lol..Krale only has FAC .177s left. They have been selling out the others while we've been chatting about them, lol. Try Aceros de Hispania otherwise, I've not bought from them, but others I trust have and everything went perfectly...Ain't this fun? I looove to shop, regardless, ha ha, but shopping air gun stuff makes you think...:-) Chickie

Its ashame you got a PRod that sounds like it has a bad barrel. If so, it should be an easy fix through Crosman especially since its still under warranty. Many of us here have it in stocked form and shooting great since the day it came out of the box. Personally, I can't think of a single major brand of AG that has 100% sold statistic without a single negative issue.....including Weihrauch. Unfortunately, it just comes down to the luck of the draw, on who gets the random defective merchandise.

I was planning on re-barreling my Prod when I got it, maybe a .20 or .25, gotta look at what's involved first, so I wasn't too worried about sending it back. I have plenty of .22s and .177s, so the tinkerer in me has a plan, lol..This isn't the first bum Crosman barrel I've had, it happens, just gotta know that going in, ha!

And that is why HW designed the HW110, to overcome every one of those drawbacks. They got tired of losing sales to people like me, lol. This is product evolution at it's finest, in my opinion. Those HW guys are never in a rush to bring anything to market, they are traditional German builders with old school ideas about quality and precision. They don't just toss stuff out there every year HOPING to have a big seller, they just go about their business, and when a new baby drops, sometimes something really special is born..I can't see how they could have been any more mindful of the shortcomings of the HW100 platform. The key issues are non-issues on the HW110. I suspect that as more HW100 shooters migrate to the 110 platform, prices on most 100s will drop, perhaps significantly. I would like one of the smaller special edition HW100s, but I won't pay more than I paid for the 110 for it. I think we are gonna see lower prices on HW PCPs in general, and that may actually be part of the overall HW business plan for the future. I bet the 110 is also much easier, and, or, cheaper to build than the 100s, and the profit margin may actually a higher percentage, so perhaps HW is looking to saturate the mid-level market with a knockout gun, and make up for the per item price drop with larger volume. Just my thoughts, who knows? But it sure seems to me that these guys have a clear plan, and so far, so good! The feel of that rubber over real wood is very sweet. The guy who thunk this up did everybody that has shot in wet weather a HUGE favor. Don't think of it as a 'synthetic' stock, but an 'enhanced' wood stock, and you'll get the idea. It's genius, the whole package is so well thought out.. Chickie
