what do you mean by older ?
Are you're rifles made in Racine or made by crosman ?
The original Sheridan model H pistols were made in the 80's, but the He17 and H9a were crosman made guns and are probably not what you're looking for since you said " older "

If you're rifles are made by crosman you may want to get crosman made pistols to go with them, but if they're true original model C blue streaks then you'd probably want original model H pump or model E co2 pistols.
I'd really love to get a model H pistol to go with my '79 blue streak.
I wanted to get the model H my dads cousin bought resulting in him selling his streak to my dad ( he gave it to me about 30 years later ), but sadly he died a few months ago.

Ok
I learn something new.when I looked on eBay I saw h9 series which I thought were older but your right those are the crossman /Sheridan pistols.ive included a picture of what I'm looking for.

So yes I'm looking for the older H series pistol  and I'll pay top dollar for a very nice one.

My blue streaks are pre 1963 with the hold to shoot safety

Thanks!!

19sheridan57 here basically deals in Sheridan air rifles and he may know where you can get a good pistol. Do you just want 2 of the model H pump pistols, or would you want a model H pump pistol and a model E co2 pistol ?
Either way they're definitely not as common as the rifles.

I don't know 19SHERIDAN57 to sell pistols but if you get your posts up to the minimum requirement of 20 you can post what you're looking for in the classifieds here on the GTA.

I'm not at home so I don't have my information with me but here is what I can tell you off the top of my head:  There are three basic models of "sheridan" pump pistols.  The H, H9, and H9A  (there is no such thing as an He).

1.  The Sheridan HB pump pistol was introduced I think in 1982.  The EB pistol was introduced in 1977 or 1978 ( but you aren't interested in the CO2 it sounds like).  The HB pistol was stamped H-series on the left side of the receiver.  The HB was produced until 1990.  The HB was obviously only made in .20 cal.

2.  In 1991, the separate benjamin and sheridan pistol lines were combined and they took the best features of each line and combined them.  The pump pistols became the H9 series, and each caliber got its own model number.  H17, H20, H22.  The H9 series pistols were offered in both nickel and black finish.  So H17 would be a nickel .177 cal pump pistol, HB17 would be the black version.  They used the pump lever/pump tube/piston/valve/sights from the sheridan H, and the pump handle, and frame from the benjamin 24x pistols.    So, you can quickly tell the difference between an H and an H9 because the frame is slightly different but the most obvious difference is the pump handle.  The H9 pump handle is square, while the H pump handle is tapered.

3. In 1994, when production was moved to NY, the pump pistols series changed to H9A.  The primary initial change was that crosman switched back to the H frame for all the pistols.  So if you are looking at an auction, you can quickly tell whether you are looking at an H9 or an H9A by the frame.  Over time, they quickly eliminated the nickel finish option for some of the calibers, and eventually phased all of the pistols out by a few years ago.

The problem with auctions is that sellers don't know the difference between the models and it seems neither do buyers.  So relatively way less uncommon H9A pistols are selling for as much or more as the least common H9 pistols.  The H pistols, having been made for 8 years are actually not all that uncommon.  I see them come up for sale regularly.  You should be able to find a pretty nice one I would say for less than $200 for sure and maybe even $150.

So what's this one then?

that is a Sheridan HB.  Although its a little confusing as that one actually has a benjamin frame, probably because its last year production (1990) and they did some funny things then.
