my new disco .22 (titan stock)

To do the slots you could chuck the proper size end mill in a hand drill and clamp it to your tool post, using the cross and carriage feed as the X-Y to make the slots.
If you mark a paper disk with degrees (can get PDF off internet) it will work as a degree wheel by placing it over the brake chucked up in your lathe, and provide a guide for even slot placement.
I have a similar set up with a high speed rotary tool (like a Dremel tool) that I use on my PM1440BV lathe as a tool post grinder.

just ran a few test groups......ill post up pics later,my groups definatly improved....its like a  totally different gun.
in the new pics i highlighted the new lines in black marker,to help show the detail....pics dont do the work justice for me.

That looks sweet dude, I did the Titan stock, but hate the stock finish it comes with.  What color do you plan to stain it?

lol the finish is horrible,i thought the same,but the wood beneeth is nice and solid.
not sure on color at the moment,tonight ill try to start on the ceder work....depends how that turns out i guess.

im thinking using thompsons sealer on the stocks bare wood,leaving it the color it is now,and staining the ceder ill add a dark transparent black.....then sealing the entire stock again.

i like the natural wood look,but may do something different.....just not sure yet.
ive never done any staining work....and im a horrible painter....lol.

winds were estimated 10-12 blowing from my 4:00 position.

thanx guys....the groups are very satisfactory in my opinion.35 is a long way.i was in a bag rest...i forget to state that.
after these groups i fired at a few bad oranges from 45-50 yards out,standing no support.
out of 10 shots fired,i only missed 2 shots.....not bad at all.

i put the disco stock on my 2260,hacked the ugly 2260se stock for parts.i used the trigger support area and the chamber grove to help support.im peicing this thing together,getting ready for the ceder work.
ill fill in the front hollow section that was made for the break barrel action.
close in the gap on the sides of the comp tube.

i got my titan stock in the mail today.....thank you clip!
the replacement stock from clip has a better wood grain than the one i hacked up for this build....i knew i shoulda waited a few more days.....lol.
the disco fit tight in there now,i have to pop it in and out....nice and snug.

those holes will be covered with the rest of the foregrip i plan on building.the ceder is thin,light,and flexible.so i should beable to wrap it around the stock.

had a blast today,this morning my new titan stock came in the mail,insalled it on along with a 4-16x40 cp scope.
i learned the hold of tha gun pretty good today.shot a lizard from 25 yards.

then i started working on the disco's new stock......then desided to go over to dads house and shoot for a few hours.so i called a all-stop on the wood work,put her together and went shooting.
i went through atleast 250 rounds today,setup my 3 inch spinner target at 60 yards even.
had a blast,at 2500 psi im getting 60 powerful shots untill i hit 1000 psi....gotta love this gun.
my 60 yard group was around 2 inches,using the arm of a chair for a rest,10-12 mph cross wind....but im still impressed.
i need to get this disco pumping out mid to high 900 fps before ill truly be happy with it.
980 is my goal,if i could get 30 usable shots....id be past happy.

i stripped my ceder into 3/8 wide by 1/6th thick,slow process to finish the fore grip.
