How is the accuracy of H&N Piledrivers shot out of an FX Smooth Twist Barrel?

I have been mulling over getting a custom barrel made with a faster twist rate to shoot Piledriver pellets at 100 yards and beyond. I have seen that accuracy out of standard rifling and twist rates has been mostly bad with a few exceptions.
Has anyone shot these pellets out of an FX smooth twist barrel and what is accuracy like at 100 yards?
I am primarily interested in the .177 caliber performance but if you have .22 information please post so that others could benefit from the information.
Thank you,
Taso

I am afraid that 4,46mm Piledrivers will have no enough spin from FX smooth twist . I also afraid that new FX smooth twist X will shoot them well. The bore has no any sharp enough fixing edges

Taso, Shooting Piledrivers out of an FX airgun with a smooth twist barrel, that's a no go. The FX guns I tried those with were a Monsoon & an Impact, & neither was powerful enough to get those little lead slugs moving fast enough. Accuracy-wise I was getting 5" groups at 25 yards. Definitely not good enough to keep trying.
The Piledrivers should work fine in a conventional LW barrel with the standard 1:17.7 twist if you could get them moving fast enough, so I doubt you really NEED a custom barrel with a faster twist rate, & if you plan on shooting them out to 100 yards, you will need speed.
There are two things I noticed when I tried them.
1- Piledrivers are a bit fussy about their size & fit in the bore, & do not shoot well in barrels with an aggressive/abrupt choke, or with a very tight choke, & if you're planning on using them, get the size closest to diameter of your barrels crown.
2-They are not as easy to load as pellets, but polishing/tapering the leade a little helps them load easier.
Good luck

I had anFX Impact in .22 caliber and test the piledrivers but they where horrible, even at 25 yards so I didn't bother to test them out to a greater distance, by the way if you read some other threads and videos about them this pellet hasn't good quality in their finish, they have a lot of burrs on them.
Here you have some links of what I'm talking about:
I hope that help with your question
