I wanna collect some more of the Superpell tins like I used to have.

Happy for you to have any and all the spice tins I have Leonard. They all have pellets in them. The older .22 tin has a few. The newer .22 tin is full. The .177 tin is about half full. Shoot me an email, if you want them. airgunnery@gmail.com

Email sent. I really need to find an old glass-n-wood candy store sort of display counter thing too.

I finally got them nearly an hour ago now(a little after 5PM). Delivered a bit later than the expected Tuesday. But it is now like the last day to order stuff and take delivery for Christmas. I remember the old Super Pell's logo the most...

  Thank you to the fuse for the vintage tin!

In the interest of nostalgia and science I launched five into a 9 yd group from my 1400/ 6 pumps.

The target (a small blue sticker) was well obliterated the second shot. Heck, got modern pells on hand that shoot worse.

Back when these were on the shelves, only other choice I had were the green-can Benjy’s...

Well, I was to take delivery on two vintage Super Pell canisters today, but they didn't leave Pittsburgh until 9:32AM today. So maybe Monday? I've bid on a few more different ones atm.

Those are the ones that we used to dump 6 or 8 in our mouth to carry around.... that was before lead became dangerous.

That’s a hefty pile of vintage ammo!

I remember those little red “sausages” of BBs. Used to get them at the local Stop-N-Rob during my Daisy days.

 Yeah you know those pellets were possibly edible, due to the fact they packed them in Spam Cans  8)

  It's actually the same shape and size as the old Prince Albert tobacco cans.

Thanks, never seen pellets in a can like that. Would have been handier than sliding the lid on the pepper cans. Maybe too easy.

I finally found a couple missing pics I wanted to show in the last post. First, the Prince Albert tobacco tins from my youth, rollin' my own. The lid on this one denotes an older tin, as by my day the hinged lid had changed to the one on the Sears/JC Higgins tins;

  And the Sears version of the JC Higgins tin, showing what the label looks like undamaged;
