Hatsan bullboss vs Kral Puncher breaker

Holding price aside, it seems that the Gladius is a closer comparison being that besides the insanely expensive Impact they are the only two bullpups that have adjustable power (maybe the Galahad does not sure).  I am now awaiting the return of my Puncher Breaker from Travis as I dropped it off with him at the Pacific Airgun Expo to tune it.  I will say however, if you are satisfied with the power and noise level the gun shot really well right out of the box.  Those are the main two reasons I gave it to him at least.  Also, I have not had a Bullboss but from all accounts I have read or watched the shot to shot consistency of the Kral is way better.  My gun was getting over 45 shots with an extreme spread of 23.  That is amazing for an unregulated gun in my opinion.

Mine is a .25 and it shoots about 45 rounds before I see any drop in POI. It's bone stock other than a LDC from Rocker1. I only shot one 10 shot string over the chrony, haven't got around to doing a full test. Ten shot average was 760fps with JSB 15.89s for 32 ft. #s. I think I'll leave the power as is. I actually shot 60 shots with it on one fill and only the last few were really bad. From about 45 on I had to start holding over.

OK so I guess I am leaning to the Bullboss side of the fence.  I am a little biased as I already have a Gladius long in .22.  From what I have been able to accomplish with this thing was unthinkable 2.5 years ago (Before I was a PCP owner - Semi newbie )  Since my experience is limited, I have actully been looking forward to this topic as I rely on you guys alot. 
I have 30 fpe already; I am looking more at the power aspect.  A .25 making about 45 fpe with really good accuracy is what I want!  I think the Bullboss can give me that with little effort.  Also other things to consider:
I am a lefty.  Forward cocking lever is awesome
I am a big guy with a big head so high rings might be needed for the Kral
Looks - Kral wins
Price - Referbed bullboss is slightly more expensive.

I think they might be just different enough for them not to be fairly compared.

WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE JUST TAKE MY MONEY!

I had to put a 1" riser under my .375 rings and I don't have a big head.

I have not owned a Kral (yet) but have been following the various posts and it sure seems they have promise. I did own a Bullboss in .22 cal and it was a great gun. The action was butter smooth, and the gun had power and accuracy. My plan was to purchase a Bullboss in .25 cal because I already had an MrodAir P12 in .22 cal that has great power and accuracy, but at the time no one had the Bullboss .25 cal in stock.

In fairly short order one of the two guns would be sold so that I could purchase another .25 cal rifle. After about a month of trials both off the bench and in the field (woods) I decided to keep the P12 and sell the Bullboss. I have nothing bad to say about the Bullboss, (except that it is a bit heavy) but for my needs the P12 is a better fit. I would have no hesitation in buying another Bullboss, but there are a lot of options available and I like light weight guns for my style of hunting. (walking several miles in a day on old logging trails) The Airforce Escape in .25 cal is what I chose for just that purpose.

Recently Purchased the .25 cal Boss. As it's my first PCP..Ive no clue what I'm doing.
I'm 220 rds in now with H&N's. More tins arrive today of some other highly recommended brands.
Ive been following a few of these threads on both Guns. 
Interesting times for this guy. Lots to learn. Keep the thoughts and opinions coming please.
I had a really tough time deciding which gun to purchase as both were in my price range.
The kral almost won as the wood stock is very appealing to me.
So far, all Ive managed to do is be able to group 1" with the Bullboss at 30 yards. No adjustments made yet from box stock. Most likely shooters error.
Still trying to get familiar with the beast and comfortable with it before adjustments.
 
I will say I'm starting to feel better about purchase of it and I think the gun does have a lot potential. Bang for the buck indeed.
Practice, Practice, Practice, and Lots of research left to go.

It Did cut the filler probe Orings again, And so I let my father have at it...... cleaning up the air tube hole...... Pretty sure that problem has been eliminated now. 
That's been my only problem so far with mine.

I have shot both guns, and own the Bullboss.  The first thing that jumped out at me was that they said the Kral was quieter, what?  That was my first indicator that something was amiss.  Don't get me wrong, I like the Kral too, and the odds are high that I would own one had they been available when I got my Bullboss.  If all you want is shot count, then the Kral is probably the better choice.  The Kral is shorter and lighter, but it may require a little extra length/baffles to get it as quiet as the Bullboss. 

The Kral has had it's share of issues for sure, but so has the Bullboss.  At this point, it seems the Kral may have a few more issues than the Bullboss did/does.  I love to tinker with things, so the Kral's issues that are popping up probably wouldn't keep me from buying one.  I feel sure that I could probably fix anything that was wrong.  If I had it to do over again, I'd likely get the Bullboss.  That is only because I know what I can do to it, and I don't on the Kral.  The resident tuners seem to be proving the Kral is quite tuneable as well.

The Kral has a great shot count, and a dang good ES for a non-regulated gun.  Frankly, I think it has a ton of potential.  Like others have said, it boils down to what you want it for, and what you want out of it.  I'm sure the Kral can be tuned to make more power, but I'm not sure what the resulting shot count would be.  The Kral does have a larger air cylinder, so I think the shot count would be good if you can keep the efficiency in check.  I know the Bullboss can be tuned for better shot count(I currently get 50+ shots at 30fpe regulated). 

For tuning ease and flexibility, I think the Bullboss is hard to beat for the $$.  I mean I can tune it for pretty much any power level from 10-55+fpe, and swap cylinders.  That does come at an extra cost though.  I have no doubt the Kral could be made to do whatever you want at an extra cost as well. 

The bogus sound level comparison aside, I'd still say they are close to a draw, but with different strengths.  I think I could be just as happy with a Kral as I am with my Bullboss, if had some "tinkering time" with it   FWIW, the Bullboss will be arriving with a wood stock option soon I think.  The biggest thing the two have in common is that they are budget pups, and the decision would come down to use for me.  Both guns are a bargain in the airgun world no matter how you look at it.  If Kral can get those bugs worked out, it will be a very hard gun to beat for the $$.

Yeah, it's anything but quiet stock. Putting just 3 mrod baffles & the spring makes it much quieter but the LDC I got from Rocker1/David makes it VERY backyard friendly. I LOVE the shot count. 40 shots with 32 ft. #'s and you'd swear it's regulated. ES was 12 with one oddball low # @ shot #10. SD was 4. It'll actually shoot about 43/44 shots before the poi drops at all. I can do 50 easy if I start holding over a mildot at 45-50 yards. Minor adjustments made the trigger very nice! I'm satisfied with the power as is for my purposes. I really liked the Bullboss but being an old fart I need lighter weight. JMHO

I'm at 60 shots @ 30 fpe (60th shot 28.9fpe) non regulated 200 - 100 bar.  I could probably squeeze a couple more, but why 60 @ 30 I'm cool with that.

I purchased Steve's Bullboss 22 cal and it is the perfect bull-pup for me.  I also bought a 177 cal from Midway USA.  I'm relatively new to PCP guns since May 2016 and now have 3 Hatsans.  They all are pretty heavy for me so the Disco is a welcome alternative when not shooting off a bipod.  Thanks again SmythSG, glad you are enjoying your new 25 cal.  I think of you every time I see a raccoon!  Dave

Dave, awesome to hear that you are enjoying the Bullboss. It was a tough choice for me going back and forth between the Bullboss and the P12, and the only reason the P12 won out is because of the weight. ( Like someone else already said, I'm not getting any younger and the weight makes a difference on a hunt)

  Factor in the Kral can be bought with a purty walnut stock for the same cost, and it's a run-away winner.  I may not get all woozy in the knees over furniture (some recent Daystates being exceptions... Talking about you Mister TunedAccuracy!),

Bill-Wish I could post a pic for you but this old fart doesn't even own a smart phone. I can tell you it has a "carbon fiber" wrap, looks good and works great. The length of the ldc itself is 6 1/4" and rear is smaller in width to allow clearance to the gauge & fill port parts. It only adds about 2 1/2" to the overall length compared to having the oem shroud in place. I'd thought I might cut down the shroud and then butt it up against the ldc to cover the barrel which would be very easy to do but I think it looks fine as is.
