That certainly is, my Viking is 2800 grams and it's much shorter. Do they use titanium air tube or what? It's not a bad looking pup, just add semi auto functionality and ...

As a very happy SPA/Artemis PP700 owner, this pleases me to no end.

Despite wanting numerous other PCPs, this (or a Kral ) will likely be my next purchase.  Sidelever cocking SPA?  HECK YEAH.  My little pistol is about the least picky airgun I've ever used when it comes to flingin' lead. 

The P-15 looks like a next-gen P-12 with improvements.  I like the fact it is bare-bones no frills PCP goodness.


EDIT: and SHUCKS, it isn't even on the SPA website yet.  Dang it, I want to find out more about this.  Last I checked with Balistas (several months ago) they were shipping to the US but I recall several people saying their goods got turned back in Customs.

Baffles are in the shroud
Holes in the rear of shroud
Trigger is slightly different
Shotgun type trigger safety
Valve assembly is not separate (unblock valve)
Regulator design is different ( compare to Chinese regulator)
Approximately 5inch shorter
Lighter (2.1 kg)
Side liver
Hammer is slim, cylindrical in shape resembling to BSA R10, and much more lighter
No seals on pellet probe ( a seal inside the barrel)
Barrel has two seals
Two screw on barrel/tube clamp instead of four
11mm scope rail
Indent on barrel for alignment with TP ( a grub screw under the scope rail is holding the barrel)
9 shots mag (fills like FX mag)

I haven't heard of this either.  I'm surprised I never came across it in my recent hunt for a bull pup.  A definite upgrade over the P-12.

The only place I've seen it advertised in on Balistas.  Neither of the other overseas distributors I check regularly- Aceros de Hispania, and Krale Shietsport- carry it. 

The P-12 is a single-shot bolt-cocker, the P-10 is the multi-shot and regulated, but still bolt-action.  This P-15 has the magazine, regulator, and sidelever... Whats not to love?

And I'll vouch for the barrels if my PP700 is indicative of the overall quality now.

Ahh that explains it, Aceros and Krale were the two sites I was  looking at Ive never visited balistas but Ive seen it mentioned quite a bit.

I sent an email yesterday to krale-schietsport.nl about the P15, they replied today and said that they aren't planning on carrying it.  Too bad, they have good pricing.  Regards, Tom

I just a reply back from Julie at SPA.  They are checking with their US Distributor (MRodAir) to carry this new bull-pup- order time of April and delivery of May, so we have some months to see what's going on here.

Also got info on their IWA booth for those wanting to attend: 2017 IWA booth number is 7A-515  LOL, maybe in a  few more years.  Definitely not in the budget for now.

It tickles me pink SPA took to time to send a personalized reply thanking me for my purchase of their PP700 and supply information pertaining to this new rifle.  I'll support a company with a personal touch.

Be aware that the rail is plastic. Yes even the part that wraps around the reservoir/bottle.
