Well I've been anti pcp up until now. I think I'm gonna buy this gun. I like everything about it. Shouldn't be as much to pump up with a hand pump either since it lower pressure.

This isn't a lower pressur- it is still 3000 PSI, regulated to discharge downstream of the regulator at 1100; and the bottle is 13 cubic inches.

It took me a couple hundred strokes to bring to 3000 PSI on the 13 CI bottles I've owned if starting from empty.

Ugh. Well maybe I'll sit this one out. I could deal with that many strokes if I didn't have to do that every time to bring it back up. About how many will it take when I run it down to the point where it's losing power? I thought most guns were at about 4000psi? If that the case then 3000psi should be quite as hard on the last few strokes, right?

From this video it looks like a standard ninja 1100psi reg and 13cu tank.

 In the video he mentions that the bottle is regulated at 1100 psi and is swappable in the field.  If that is the case and the reg is set to 1100 then you could have a 2nd. tank for less than $90.  It seems 1100psi is too low to get the .22 moving at 900 fps?

I want one to play with.

Airguns are all different.  Some you pump to 2000, some to 3000, some are 200 bar (2900 PSI), some to 3350 PSI, some to 3650, and some to 4500.  I wouldn't care for filling anything over 3000 by hand. 

For this particular air rifle, much like the QB-79 when bottle-fed, you shoot it until it falls off the regulator, meaning bottle pressure drops below the regulator set-point, in this case 1100 PSI.  Once that has happened, you re-fill.  It's a lot easier to go from 1100 to 3000 than 0 to 3000.  I'll add you can probably find used carbon fiber tanks on Craigslist in your area.  Buy the necessary adapter and let a paintball/airsoft place fill your tank, then use the tank to fill your airgun.

If you are looking for a good starting PCP but want a repeater, it might be worth exploring the Wildfire once released.  It looks to be built on the Crosman 1077 platform but using Discovery/Maximus airtube and fill pressure.  For a single shot, it is very hard to beat the Disco and Maximus.

If the bottle is regged at 1100psi you could pump it to 2000psi and get less shots. Nothing says you have to fill the bottle 100%.

+1... very true.  Pumping is tedious but not hard until about 2550 to 2600 PSI.  Then it gets to be a work-out.

Ok, let me get this straight.  Decent-looking rifle.  Bottle fed.  In-field swappable bottle.   Regulated.  Good shot count.  Good fps.  Decent trigger (with a little work).  Accurate barrel (based on what I'm reading).  Non excruciatingly heavy (under 10 lbs).  Repeater.  Moderated.  Based off of tried and tested platforms.
All for UNDER $300!?!
Am I missing something?  What's the catch?

Only thing you're missing is what we're all missing: Real live trigger time with it by people who have nothing to lose to point out it's shortcomings or praises.

It really looks like the rifle we've all been wanting and some have been building.

  I see that you have two QB's (one a hpa conversion).  Please tell me about your QBS as to how you think that they may relate to the Gauntlet.  Accuracy, trigger pull, overall quality ect..   Quite interested in how well the single action trigger on your conversion works.  Is it smooth?  Pull force?
