Wanted to get everyones thoughts here.
I have had some 12g co2 powerlets hanging around since around 1996-1998 or so. I bought these for an old paintball gun, then ended up never using them. Think these are still ok after sitting for nearly twenty years? Just sat in a box, no temperature extremes or anything.
Just got a QB78, figure these could finally get some use.

The only ones that I've found to often "go bad" were the old ones with the "beer bottle" type cap (with ridges on the sides, just like a mini-beer cap). Either those are sealed, or they're not...and if they are not, they'd have leaked all the co2 out within weeks of being made.
If nothing else, you could weigh them on a basic kitchen digital scale.. Empty, they should be about 31gr./1.1oz and if they still hold all their co2, should be about 1.5oz/43 gr.

Thanks for the tip - they each weigh about 1.51 oz on the scale - good to go!

If it makes you feel better, the last time I shot my father's 707 was in 2011... with CO2 cartridges he bought in the very early 80's at Montgomery Ward. They either leak right away or stay sealed.

Yes, shouldn't be a problem at all to still use them to your full satisfaction.
