New Look For Mrod

(1/2) > >>

ShawninIL:
I recently purchased a gen 2 Mrod chassis from Dave at RAI. After getting it adjusted to my liking, this thing is amazing! TOTALLY changes the fit and feel of the Mrod making it much easier to shoot off hand and much more comfortable. The narrow AR style fore end is way nicer than the overly wide wood stock. This stock also makes the gun much more balanced. Not sure about any weight difference, but it feels lighter, might just be the better balance, I will have to do a weight comparison and post later. You couldn't ask for nicer people to deal with either, Dave invited my wife and I to join them for dinner when he found out we didn't live to far apart. Very nice people, very solid product, what more could you ask for?
I highly recommend the Gen2 Mrod chassis from R Arms Innovations.

That does looks awesome! I've teetered on an mrod so many times and every time I see a different approach to one of them it reignites the desire to add one to the collectionew.

Where abouts are you and/or RAI located in IL?

ShawninIL:
I am in Morrisonville(about 40 mi. south of Springfield) and RAI is in Highland, about 50 mi. south of me.

I'll let Shawn divulge the location of his secret hideout. I'm in Carrollton 62016, and R Arms Innovations is in Highland IL. He basically does all his machining and airgun business after his full time job, so it's not a bad idea to call ahead. I think he sleeps 2 hours a night.

I don't know where you're at, but I'd be happy to let you shoot my Mrods - if I can shoot your AirForce gun, looks awesome!

Both of mine are gen1, but this is the only one I have a picture of.

Thanks guys....I'm WAAAYYYYY north of you all near Joliet(Plainfield actually).  I'll have to make arrangements to get a trip down that way...likely next spring or summer cause let's face it, shooting in winter just isn't as much fun hahaha.
My Talon is one sweet rifle and while she is my baby I don't mind when others dance with her as I know she always comes back to me   ;D. We will all have to figure out arrangements to meet up some time if you guys are up for it!!!!
