Man alive, I'm Jonesing .... I got out once this weekend saw one GS but he decided to stay in his hole, so I left after waiting 1/2 hr.

Went back home as I have been busy reading up on VW Bug Baja's as I'm starting to build one .... it will take a good 6-8 months to get her done I think, as this will be labor and $$ intensive. This will be a street machine, capable of off roading. It will be totally stripped down and built from scratch, using a 1776 engine for reliability and a few more HP than a 1600, disk breaks will also be installed ;-  )

I'm building it with no rear seat and a large lockable safety box in the back ... what for ... My Air Guns, and other airgun accessories ;-  )

I also have some of Mike's bullets. His 60 gr Noe's are nice. Managed to knock off a friend's 4"spinner at 150 yards with the third consecutive hit. Might have something to do with Doug's valve spitting them out at 1080 fps with the power wheel on zero. 😂

That little 60 grainer made from the 80 grain NOE Ranch Dog is a real winner. Especially in a gun with the R&L Valve!

With Doug's valve, they are on fire!

Mike, here's that group shot with the 80 gr ranch dog i was talking about. Should've stopped at 5 shots, but it was shooting nice, so i shot two more, which widened my group out. This was at 100 yards and heres alittle eye candy of one of my painted condors. i havent got my other one back yet, should be there thursday or friday and I'll slap her together and shoot you a picture of her also.

The green is the foliage green from them in the 2400 series. You spray it then have to bake it at 180 degrees for however long it says too. The Burnt Bronze metallic is their 2500 series. Just don't spray your spinloc collar like I did and heat treat it. It'll warp on you. Lesson learned and $20 later I'll have new parts here Thursday to put it back together.

Good first group! I think It can get a bit better. The AF platform is hard to get really good groups from until you put a stock on it. It's basically the equivalent of shooting a barreled action, with a makeshift butt stock.  It will Never be as accurate as it can be made.

But like I said. Very good first effort. And as to those two off to the right, we have a hard time stopping when it feels so good!

Lol, Mike, point taken. Well, I've really thought about a Maddog stock, but with the angled tank adapter it's a no go on that gun. I'd have to order something from Doug, but I don't know of he's still making parts. I'm running his valve, angled tank adapter and 52ci tank on the bronze gun. The green one is running a different tank/valve setup that could be doable with the stock, that's my hunting rifle for now.

Actually, I just saw a Mad Dog Stock with the large bottle in the last few days. Darned If I can remember where though. Seems it would have to have had an angle adapter to be able to use it, and the tank was much lower than what it would have been without.

Here she is put back together. The 32" barrel underneath is also bronze. I did the 27-5/8" barrel in black to swap between both guns as the bronze one is going to be mostly for bench shooting, with light hunting.

I'll bet it gets a good shot count once you get everything dialed in.

The Bronze looks really good. I have a custom e-cig mod being made that will be two tone, black and bronze, DLC coated. Bet the Bronze frame would look killer with a black barrel.

Mike, alittle gun porn for you. Group was `100 yards and with the .2578 60 gr NOE out of the 32" barrel.

A Great Group Tony@  I assume those are 1" squares? If so, that is knocking hard on 1/2 MOA shooting!

That little 60 grainer is very accurate, and it sipps air compaired to the heavier bullets. And the wide metplat is a real stopper on game.

I took my first Coyote with these @ 139 yards.  They may be small, but they hit like a freight train! (will make the typical  .22 rimfire run for cover. LOL). It takes a very custom rimmie to give groups like that.
And to think, this was your first effort with them! An Untried bullet, in an untried Air Gun! Gotta Love it!

( About an hour earlier I shot a squirrel thru the head at the very same spot I shot the Yote. Yes, a squirrel at 139 yards with an air gun and my cast bullets. Gotta love a good bullet, a good dependable Dyotat100 AG, and a good mil Dot scope + a whole lot of  years of shooting.)
 
Thought about having the mold hollow pointed as I can send these out at over 1200 psi. That should really put the smack down on vermin. Would be a great Groundhog and Crow round. It is already  a hammer on Coon.

Thinking a little about offering some of my  cast bullets in the forsale area. I think they are some of the very best out there. Seems a lot of my private customers think so as well. 

What do ya think?  But I do think I am going to have to raise them a little above the 15 bucks a hundred. It's sorta costing me. But it won't be much more! 

Ya Know, that Rig may not have a wood stock, but it sure gives a woodie just looking at it! What a Beauty!!!
