im looking at the mock Mark 4 Tac-3.5-10x40. Im putting it on a Gamo Rocket the mounts from Gamo in a nice term are junk. I need some thing that holds up and dont strip out and doesnt move. looked at the 60's and 65 off the sight will they fit and do they have a pin stop. Can anyone tell me. Or do i have to stay with the stop pin in the Gamos junk.

If you go with a heavy duty mount and clean both mating surfaces, you shouldn't need to use the stop pin. The stop pin is more or less "back up" or secondary protection for when the mounts start to creep. I would can those junky gamo mounts and shell out a few extra dollars on quality mounts dude. Airscopes.com has some good quality stuff, i just picked up his 6-24x50 (raptor) vector sidewheel scope and im super happy with it. good luck dude, any other questions, just ask.
