Which Jm seal should i get? I saw 3 different types in the airrifle headquarters and i saw the small apex, large apex and tesla seal for the rws 34. Which is better and wat are the different sizes for? Ur input will be appreciated.

Small Apex doesn't fit the 34, that's for the Gamo's and similar. The large Apex or Tesla is the one you want, if you don't have the ability to size seals (lathe), then your best bet is the Apex seal. The other alternatives are the stock Diana seal from Umarex, or the new seal available from Vortek. I'm currently running an OEM seal in mine, but that's only because it came with the new piston I had to get for the TO-6 trigger I installed. It actually gave me better performance than an Apex seal. Haven't heard any reviews on the Vortek seal yet, but their tune kits are excellent. Later.

Both would be better than stock. I haven't seen any reviews on a direct comparison between the JM and Vortek. There is a guy on dianawerks that has pics of them to compare. He just took out a JM that he was very happy with, to put in a vortek for comparison.

When I got my 34 it already had a JM kit in it, but I never could leave well enough alone :-). Both are excellent products, but for a simple drop in replacement, I think the nod has to go to Vortek. There was virtually no difference in power level, and the Vortek may be slightly quieter and smoother than the JM kit, but it's not much. However, on a stock rifle, I'm sure the difference would be much more noticeable. But then there's customer service.
Remember the old car rental ads, the tag line was "we're #2, we have to try harder"? Well, that seems to be the Vortek mantra right now, Tom monitors the various forums to see how people are responding to his products, and is bending over backwards to take care of his customers. He's obviously in it for the long haul, and is working hard to make sure his new customers come back as repeat customers. Not to take anything away from Jim Macarri, the man's a legend and rightfully so, but when's the last time you saw him post anything on any forum? I've already bought Vortek kits for two rifles, the 34 and a TX 200, and it would have been three but the R9 kit wasn't ready soon enough for me. Will probably order one anyway, just to compare it against the JM kit that I have in it now. Although that will probably be awhile, that R9 is set up so perfectly right now that I hesitate to change anything, even scopes :-). Later.

You know, the answer is really simple, just buy another 34 and get one of each kit :-)! You know you're going to want another rifle soon anyway, might as well make it something you know you like. Later.

does vortek lead towards more accuracy beacause of the said "less muzzle flip" or does the jm kit still outperforms the vortek in the accuracy department?

I saw no difference in accuracy between the two, which makes sense, since there was basically no change in velocity. Really, I don't think you can go wrong with either kit, so if all else fails, just flip a coin :-). Later.

Just so you know, the Vortek comes with it's own tar, and the lower spring tube which dampens the twist and vibrations of the spring. I have a full JM kit in my RWS D 34P and I can't stand shooting the gun. I will be tearing it apart soon to see if I can figure a way to smooth it out. If I can't then I will get a Vortek like I have for my B28 and my B40 both shoot far better than my M34P.

I put the JM GRT kit in my 34 .22 and I love it. Before it had a lot of twang. Now none!
I used his lubes and red Apex seal. I went with the JM kit because I read some of the vortec kits you had to grind the cocking shoe some. Vortec seem to make a nice kit ,but when I read that I went with JM. The GRT kit was a easy drop in!

OK here's an idea. Forget the kits and go OEM!!! Not to take anything away from the kits, I'm sure they are both great, but a thorough cleaning deburring, and proper lubrication will yeild excellent results. Add a couple thrush washers at the spring ends and you've eliminated 90% of the twist produced by the expanding torgue power of the spring. With that, spring buzz can be controlled with the proper amount of tar. With a tight spring or a constraining spring guide sleeve, you are not getting the full power potential that a spring has to offer. A spring guns' internals must be able to move freely to attain maximum power and efficiancy. Then you wonder why both your fps and fpe drop off some with the use of "kits". These kits will make shooting spring guns much easier to shoot consistantly, but I'm not convinced they will provide the optimal power a springer posesses. Learning to shoot a spring gun is a whole different thing all together. My advise would be to learn to properly tune a quality built rifle like a Diana with it's original OEM parts, than to add a tight/constricting spring guide system, nor the need to modify a component so a kit can work. That never set well with me. Seems so many folks out there are looking for the "easy way out" to shooting spring guns consistantly and accurately with the need of a kit, when I would bet most of them could learn to shoot springers better, more accurately and consistantly with diligent practice focused towards shooter technique. I say work with what you've got first and try to fine tune it some before resorting to a kit. You might just surprise yourself. Like I said in the beginning of my reply, I'm not trying to take anything away from Vortec or Macarri, I'm confident they both produce a quality product, but my thoughts are more geared towards improving a spring gun by fine tuning it in its factory condition. Experimentation and plain old tinkering with a factory gun is a learning experience and just plain fun. I know, I know, "tjk is an A-hole", but like Popeye always says "I yam what I yam"!!!
