So I bought a .25 cal Condor. Now what?

So I bought this rifle thinking it would dimension the same as a .25 ACP only to find out its groove dimension are more like .253 than the .25 ACP's .251. It also has a pretty severe choke at the end of the barrel. So my question is does anyone shoot resized Hunter Supply #257's out of this Lothar Barrel, and if so what kind of velocity/ accuracy can I expect?

Would you know what alloy the Hunter Supply bullets are?
That Condor should do well with heavy pellets. Iirc the Carson Rat Sniper swaged bullets shoot well if you can find them.
Whatever you do shoot it lots!

I make the same swaged slug as Rat Sniper which are pure lead.  Most cast bullets you find are not pure lead and usually mixed with tin to get better casts.  You don't need pure lead but you want something softer than most pistol bullets.  A BHN of 10 or less is probably a good rule of thumb.

They are made specifically for air rifles. I use the #257 resized down to .251 through my TJ's .25 ACP barrel. From what I can tell the Barrel Groove dimensions to .253 or .254 on the Condor.

I don't believe they are made specifically for air rifles because they sell the same exact bullet for the same price under their normal bullets too.  They just market these bullets to air gunners.

If you look under "cast lead bullets" and "air gun pellets" they are the same bullets.  Their bullets are not made for airgunners, they are marketed to them.

I am a Corbin fan for certain bullets.  I also own two casting machines, one that holds four molds and another that holds 6 molds at a time so I sell both cast and swage.

But I not saying to buy from me, but to be aware of what HS is selling and how they market it to you.  Do some searching or even ask on the forum of what people think of HS bullets in their air guns.

I own Airforce guns but they are all modified and not stock so I don't personally shoot one.  I can tell you I get repeat orders from guys who buy them for Condors so I can only take from that they are happy with it's performance.  The most common bullet they buy from me for a Condor is the 39 grain slug which I have a link below for.

I am working on bullets for 25 caliber cast.  I am told those molds are not going to be run for another 2 weeks and then it takes them a week to test them.

I not the only game in town.  I think some people will chime in and say what they have found has worked in their gun also.
