Rules and Target for 50 Yard Benchrest Match

Scores and a scanned copy of target for this match are due July 4 2016 by 10pm CST
This will give us 3 full weekends to get started.

For starters we will all compete in one class if it grows maybe we can separate into PCP, Springer and Pistol.

Target will be the 5m pistol target for scopes.

2 Shots per bull for a possible 100 score.

Rules: Anything goes as long as it's off the bench or ground, except rifle vices! You have to be in contact with the air gun, shouldering the airgun and pulling the trigger!

All air guns are WELCOME.

Distance: 50 Yards. The trigger should be behind a firing line 50 yards from the target face.

Additionally, when posting your target please be sure to include the following in your post:

Screen Name or Name
Rifle or Pistol
Sights
Pellet
Position (Bench Rested, Front bag, Front/Rear Bag, Shooting Sticks, Prone, HFT etc.).
Score
Other optional information to share (weather, etc.)

Please indicate the match name, match number and the date when the match was shot on the target.

Target sheet must not have been used (or to be used) in another match.

Target sheet posted must have been shot during the inclusive dates for that particular match number.

Remember the most important rule is to have fun!!!!!!!

Good on you Ricky. Should be fun.

One suggestion ........... you might want to separate the calibers to some degree because the big bore shooters will have a scoring advantage with the target your using. Just sayin.

Well this target will get it started. If I get time I'll research how much difference targets need to be. I would like to keep it a 5 bull 10 shots match.

Here is my entry for the 50 meter bench rest match #1...
That was fun... I shot 2 targets this morning and this was the better one!

Thought I would try my brother's Disco, did pretty good for the first try. I am surprised at how well the Disco shoots.

Stated out with Jsb 34 gr, Had to op out for Jsb 25.4gr. Changed top hat and site in.
Great distance and challenge, I need to work on groups.
I tried to match Marty2 but came up short

I like the 92 best of all, bench bipod and shoulder.

Ok woodswalker since you posted the 97 scoring target first will let you use that one.
7 targets posted so far. Still have 6 days to get those targets in. I have the new targets ready for the next match. I'll be posting it in the Shooting Match Gate.
