FWB 602: Perfect Score!!!!

I was rather disappointed when my friend (and outstanding shooter) Vitaly tested my CZ 200T target rifle and pronounced it "NOT match quality".  The idea is that with the rifle rested, shooting a standard 10-meter air rifle target of 12 bulls, you should be able to get a "perfect" score of 120/120.  That's using the two sighters as well as the ten regular targets.  And this is NOT with a scope either, just the regular peep sights on the target rifle.

It's really difficult to get such a perfect score, but Vitaly can do it consistently.

Over the last few days I tried and tried, and just couldn't do it.  That's with the new Feinwerkbau 602 that I scored just last week.  Today I switched pellets, from H&N Match Rifle to Walther Finale Match Rifle, and (drum roll...) I DID IT!!!!!!  Perfect 120/120 score!!  (Scored with Eagle Eye.)



And just in case that was just a tremendous stroke of luck, on my next target I shot 119/120.



I'm really stoked!  Now there's no longer any question that any failings will be MY fault, and not the rifle's.

Before working on different positions I wanted to make absolutely certain that the RIFLE was capable of producing a perfect score.  Now that I'm convinced of that, I AM going to work on other positions but I bought this rifle specifically to do 10-meter free-hand standing with paper targets, so that's going to get my efforts.
