Any tape or thread lock on Co2 tank?

So I am going to be switching all my co2 pin valves to on/off valves. Was wondering if I should use any plumbers tape or thread lock?

Nope - seals with an o-ring between valve and bottle

Not needed to seal,  but I've seen thread locker used.  Keeps the valve from accidentally unscrewing when removing tank from gun or fill equipment.  *shrug*  I have bottles done both ways.
