So I finally got a day off with goo weather and knocked out so ballistic gel testing with the 45 gr hp slugs from pelletgarden.com. Man did they surprise me. I filled up the gun to right around 3500 psi and let these things loose. I set every thing up at 12 yards to make sure I hit the target. The trashcan style really made a mess of the target. the hp rounds penetrated more but still left a very nice wound channel. These are impressive slug for hunting!

Thats a talon tunes 14 inch gen 6 shroud. It is by far the best out there. I did a comparison of 3 and it won hands down. Not nocking the other 2 for the money they did thier job well but if you want your gun quieter than the impact talon tunes is the one that cant be beat.

And thank you. Finally got decent weather with little wind and i was off. That has not happened in a few weeks. I was really impressed with the hp's. Especially the ones that look like a trash can that thing really opened up!

So here are the groups from today. Very nice. Both slugs blew right threw the 1in ply wood with ease. Its hard to get really good groups in bright sunlight with the nv scope.

Thanks gents. This ballistics gel was an awesome investment. Really gives ya a crystal clear picture of how the rounds work. Just gotta find a pan to melt it back down again. Got it all cut up and ready to melt.

The grip is from acid tacticle. They make some cool stuff for ar's, paint ball and it fits the wokgard. I shot a few emails back and forth with links to all the airgun stuff and they seemed very interested in our stuff. They do hydro dipping and sell the kits pretty cheap if you want to do it yourself.
