I drove by the place today and the trash dumpers struck again. Someone dumped some old wood fence materials in the parking area. It should not be too much trouble to move it out of the way though.

Yes anything that will barbecue meats.

I tried to pump up the Gladius tonight and I guess even w/the plumber's tape I used I have a leak on the probe and I can't get the bleed valve shut off fast enough before it drops to 175 bar. So there goes the chrony testing I was hoping to do tonight. All my tools are at work so I'll take it all in tomorrow and see if I can't get the leak fixed. Man that not worthy.My amazing gun bad luck continues!!

Mine did the same on the Cricket probe. I triple wound it and torqued the heck out of it.

I think I am coming as well - and bringing a friend too, Brian. We don't have gun---yet. I have my purchase all laid out - just want to hold a gladius (thanks glen) and see if I really need an expensive scope or get away with high magif cheaper one (thanks Norman). What time do you guys usually start?

Hey Chad, glad you and Brian will make it. This will be my 4th time and the largest group by far! I hope to get out of Columbus by 11:45 or so and that would put on site just before 2. That seems to be about typical for the other 3 times I've gone.

Guys, we'll get the food stuff organized in a bit. I think I'll try and bring a disposable grill or a real one that's brand new. If I bring a real one I'd like to ask someone up there to take it home to store for these shoots. I don't want to haul it in my car 4 hours each trip.

Got my fill probe retaped and she pumps up great! Although I have to pump a tad over 200 bar on the pump to get just under 200 bar on the tube gauge. The pump gauge was correct with the AT44 I had so maybe my Gladius tube gauge reads a little low?

I'd rather not bring stuff that I have to keep cold since I have about the farthest to come. Let's break it down:

Grill and charcoal or gas, grill cooking utensils
Meat/s
Buns
Drinks (single serve means no cups or drink ice needed) Coke? Water?
Chips
Mustard/Ketchup other condiments?
Paper ware-plates, napkins
Probably throw away aluminum pan/s to put cooked meat/s in
Cookies/brownies?
Trash bag

I have a brand new Weber 14" Smoker just like this

Still in the box. I've had it for probably 7 years but have no use for it. (I won it in some contest) I'll be happy to donate it to this group but again I don't want to haul it every trip since it would have to be in my car.

I guess we should just say what we'll bring until it's all covered. We can split stuff up also to spread the $ around more evenly. Buns are cheap, meat isn't, etc.

I'll bring some hot dog buns and some kind of cookies/brownies (that won't melt) And the grill and charcoal if needed.
