Well, I'm not good at siferin letters in place of words. So, please, will someone tell me what CHP stands fer?
I've tried a google search.

I am going to buy some .177s and give it a try - I probably won't shoot BBs again.  What does your 310 like?

I've been using Crossman wadcutters, chp's and the gammo tomahawks, try a few and see what your gun likes. When these guns were made I think they were designed for the Benjamin lead shot, I'd like to get a vintage tin of those. Steel bb's would probably wear the brass barrel out after a while.

 Bicycleman, thanks fer the list. I went to the link at the bottom of the list and, low and behold, there I found a world of knowledge and most of it is used in all gun related discussions. Now I know!

My 310'shoots CHP's really good.

CHPs - I can get those at Walmart.  And they may have a sampler pack too.  Thanks.

My 310 has a non-adjustable rear sight and shoots the CHP's great with 8 pumps. The Daisy HP and Wadcutters shoot pretty good with 6 pumps. I recently bought a 273 peep for it but haven't installed it. I think I'm just going to save it for a 312 when I find one. It shoots great out to 15 yards the way it is and is minute of beer can at 25. It's a plinker and that's all I need from it. I think you'll be surprised at how well it shoots after you figure out what it likes.

Yea I been debating on getting the 273 peep also. I got the v-bar on my 312, it's ok could be better. You buy it from the guy Richard who post one every couple days on AA? If so dishing out 35 bucks for an "L" and "o"shaped piece of metal seems much

I got mine from Dennis Baker for the same price. I waited but couldn't find one cheaper so I just bought it. You might run accross one at a gun show on the odds and ends table.
