Yestrday I bought another two air guns, Quest 800 and Quest Raven.
Its a newer version of Raven, with safety in front of the trigger, in stock, that moves left and right. Somewhere I read that GRTIII doesnt fit into these new Raven (on CDT website it says it fits), can some of you confirm this? Plasitc is just iritating
Overall its a nice gun, fun to shoot. I still havent mounted any optic sights on it, waiting for a Gamo 3-9X40 AO in next few days. I'll post some groups asap.

Was the Raven ever made with a blade safety?

Hi Stefan,
No, that's not normal for the Raven trigger. There is a wire spring that rests against the safety that should put tension on the trigger and return it to the correct position. That spring may be out of position. You may need to take the trigger apart to get it working properly. Can you return the gun and exchange it for a new one? That is what I would do if you can? If not then I have an extra trigger assembly for the raven that I can photograph and send you pictures if you need them to put it back together properly. Send me an email if you can't get t fixed. I took the stock off my raven to put some lube on the spring. I had a hard time getting the trigger spring back on the push button safty just fell out. you have to line up the spring for the safty to work right. set in a groove in the safety button. then they first made the raven the grt trigger would work in them the newer ones are dircert sear. Mine a good shooter an a don,t mine the trigger pull of 4-5 pounds

Stefan, Here are some pics of the Raven trigger. The long wire extending from the trigger goes over the button safety when you put the stock back together. There is another internal spring that returns the trigger to firing position. If the plastic housing isn't tight then the trigger may move enough for that spring to slip off the trigger. The Raven trigger is the weak point of the gun. A new trigger assembly costs $13 from Crosman. Getting it to Serbia is the problem. I'll email you the pics too. Paul

Because the trigger is direct sear in the Raven if you go to remove t he trigger group do you need to support of compress the spring?
