Hey ya'll, I just ordered a RWS Diana 48 with the T06 trigger. WhileI'm not new to springers (i've had a stoeger x10 for almost 7 years now), I am new to RWS. So I was wondering if there is anything in particular that I should watch out for or any pre-shooting procedures that will insure a long life of fun shooting with this gun.

Not just for Diana, but I think it is a good idea to shoot 100-200 pellets through any new springer before you mount a scope. Let things smooth out a bit and get all dieseling out of the way.

Will do,T-Higgs, I was planning on getting a scope sometime this summer anyways, but i'll definitely make sure she's settled in before i mount one. I figure i'm also gonna need to get a mount that will accommodate barrel droop as i've heard these 48s are notorious for that. Anything else I should be aware of? I did a little research but I didn't see anything typical of having to clean paint out of the barrel or recrowning, dirty internals, et cetera...

Check the screws to make sure they are tight.
