That sausage sounds fantastic ! I am heading into "my last day of work" before the shoot. I am going to drive down tomorrow (wed) for the day, drive home wed night and pick up the girlfriend and coming back at noon on thursday to spend weekend. I am so glad this is really happening !! We will be there Friday, I assume before lunch. Tonight is my last night of work , and I'll need the next couple days to be sure everythings done and ready to load up!

Also, We reserved our room at the Ramada, and the lady said All the rooms saved for GTA have been filled. We still got the discount however.

A buddy and I are leaving Arkansas Thursday afternoon for the 10 hour drive. See everyone Friday Morning on the range! Going to bring a few springers for sale - a nice TX200 and HW77.

Finally made it in late this afternoon. New vehicle GPS brought us here the scenic route. Weather is not cooperating here. Tornado warnings and thunderstorms. Weather is supposed to be on and off all week/weekend.
Was great to start seeing some old friends and meeting some new face to face. Good to see Tom, Paulie, Jeff and Bob again. I could tell Jay doesn't know what to think of me after meeting me in person. LOL
No problem Jay, that happens to most folks that meet me for the first time.

Talked a bit with Hargis about several things including where and how to set up the firing line. We plan to start tomorrow morning getting things in order and figuring out what to do and how to work around the weather. We will make this work!!!

Back to the hotel and checked in. That alone was an interesting experience. Had already been warned by Cathy and Rocker about our hostess. LOL
I actually got along with her when I walked in and she started in on me. I killed her with kindness...then started messing with her to give back what she was dishing out. You have to talk to this lady to understand, she would definitely upset some customers...like David. LOL
At the hotel I got to see Geoffrey, Cathy, Liz, David and Diane. Was great to see GTA family and reminds me of what all the work and time spent is for.
Can't wait to see more of you this week/weekend!!!!
