Help! AAs500 or BSA r-10 mk2

Matt I dont want to say we told you so but hey we did say you would be very happy with it Looks like its going to be another awesome shooting BSA especially when its got a few hundred + pellets thru it and you get comfortable with it. The stock looks good and I can see some dark grain in there. One of the easiest ways to protect that stock is to apply boiled linseed oil. Its very easy to apply and it adds depth to the grain. you can pick it up at ace hardware or probably any hardware store you have around you. Just make sure its boiled linseed.

What do you think of the noise level?

This is my first " higher end" air rifle and lol never look back again.. This is on a whole new level than anything I've ever had.

Noise level is such a hard thing to try and describe or put into words. So when people ask which pcp is the quietest or which are back yard friendly its never easy to answer. You have to shoot it in the environment you plan on using to see how the noise is. Glad the noise level is where it needs to be for you. If you ever want to make it shorter and quieter you know where to go

I've seen a relatively cheap kit that goes in the factory shroud that is suppose to make it even quieter, but I have not felt a need for it. Maybe after I get some solid baseline accuracy testing done. Don't want to add anything that will affect accuracy. Plus I at least like to hear a little something to know my gun is shooting right, lol.

That's Pinkney engineering kit, around 20 £. It makes the shroud backvented and adds Weirauch style internals.
