This is the same deal I got two years ago.  Without a doubt the best AG I have ever held in my hand.  Accurate hammer at a great price.  My only regret is that I don't have one in .177 too.

Nice find on a great rifle. My D48/.22 and D52/.177 consistently shoot straight and hard every time I pick them up. Only downside (IMO) is the weight, a bit much for a field gun. If you tote it around all day hunting a sling is a must.

I agree.  The 48 .22 is the most accurate of all my Springers.  I 'd say equal to my tuned 36, but the 36 does not put out 20 FPE, so the 48 is the clear winner for me.
