A Red nutter and a Chipper!

Not a lot of time today but I did catch the red out in a pine and took the 850 out with SHP's in and knocked him off a branch at 30yds. Later the chipper came to the bird feeder spillings and took him with the 850 at 30yds.

Yup I know it's been awhile since I was out in the sticks but the way the weather has been here summer temps I'm assuming their still in summer mode. Usually the Bandit's are getting themselves fat for the winters haul but the game cams are showing no takers at the coops which is good for the resident but not for my icebox lol.  I'm headed out this weekend to focus on the nutters who have missed me I'm sure lol. Ed

Good hunting Bro Ed! I got a grey this morning, They seem to be in a hurry here to stock up for winter a lot of young ones too looking for new territory. We had cold weather for a few weeks but this week has been in the high 60's but by the weekend it will be back to normal weather. ( at least we had a true indian summer this year)

Just curious, with you being one of the most accomplished Springer Hunters here,
 What are your favorite pellets to use in your springers (and/or pumpers)?

 I know that you like both the CPHP's and the Polymags, (me too), as I've had the good fortune that most of my shooters do pretty well with them also.
 But besides those two choices, what other pellets does your shooters like to hunt with ?

I would leave some of the Reds for the off-season since they are not protected, but that's just me because I don't have a lot to shoot at
