I used this on my Hatsan 1000X/.25:You can apply it through the slot where the spring is visible without a full tear down. I also sprayed some on the cocking linkage and it now cocks smoothly and there is no more twang. Not a full lube tune, but a quick way to quiet things down and smooth them out. YMMV

YMMVI might try that on my Webley Spector--same as the Hatsan 1000 springer. Does it set up thick? What I mean is where it won't be running off making a mess. Thanks!Ed

Use masking tape around the slot to prevent overspray, you can use a good solvent like brake or carb cleaner to clean up any overspray. Only downside is that it smells pretty strong for a few days.
Johnany idea what it did to your chrony numbers and ES ?
What do you do ? Stop the annoying twang no matter how well it is shooting or deal with it until it starts to shoot terribly.
