Daystate 303 magazine reversal?

My stock Daystate Wolverine 303 loads the magazines from the left side and did not seem a problem until I installed the scope wheel. Not possible as the wheel completely blocks access, even a 3" wheel is too big. Looking at the magazine it appears to be reversible. Shape of the breach is symmetrical so no problem there. Anybody done it?

Did you try a Hatchet style wheel from Wicked Air Rifles? Rotating it may give you the access to the loading area you are looking for.

I reversed them. Here is how.
I used a battery powered drill and tightened the chuck onto the small locating pin. No worries as this is a hardened pin. With very low rpm I was able to pull this pin out. Leave it in the chuck.
Take screw out and magazine cover comes off. Note that the drum should be empty, and note the location od dimple on side of drum.
Lift the drum off being careful not to loose the spring underneath.
Use a very small drift punch and press the magnet out.
Press magnet into other hole.
Put spring back and replace drum. Fiddle with the spring until the ends go back into original holes.
Wind drum a few rounds to pre load spring. Dimple should be where it was before opening it up.
Wind drum one more click and replace cover.
Use drill at dead slow rpm to put pin back next to the magnet and you are done.

I don't know how much different the 303 magazine is but I have a Daystate MK4 and have tried to reverse the pin and magnet on a couple of magazines for the same reason as the O.P. Both times I've done this the magazine wouldn't index any longer. It was as if the magnet changing position was strong enough to effect the catch which stops the drum from moving more than one position at at time because the catch wouldn't return to it's correct position. I switch the magnets back on both magazines and they both worked as they should.

I've changed the magazine direction on a .25 Air Ranger Extreme. First, remove the stop pin by pulling it straight out. I then measured the thickness of the plastic face plate holding the magnet & from the backside of the magazine, using a drill press & a very small drill bit, I drilled through the plastic casing until I just barely pierced through the plastic & made contact with the magnet. Then, I turned off the drill press & pressed out the magnet with the drill bit. Moved the magnet & stop pin to their right side holes of the magazine & Wallah! I did this on 4 magazines. It was nice & neat looking with no problem or ill affect on the magazine's function or cycling. Just take your time. The hardest part was getting that pesty little magnet to let go on my needle-nose pliers when trying to reseat the magnet in the right side hole.

I am willing to bet that you put the cover back with the drum in the wrong position. When the magazine is empty there is a dimple on the outside that should be about to get hidden if the magazine drum gets rotated (not sure if it gets rotated that way though). My drum would not index for &^^& until I re assembled the drum dimple about in the middle of the visible area.
