I haven't had a chance to enjoy this hobby in a while - just "life" stuff. Now that summer's here I'd like to get things going again. My question is mainly about anything you would do for safety after not using your equipment in a while, and it's dusty. I plan to wipe everything off, of course - but just wondering if there are any other tips for dusty: Shoebox, 4500psi tank and hose assembly, several PCPs?
In the back of my mind I remember reading somewhere about dangers of dust and combustibles...but not sure if this applies in any way with HPA as well? What do you guys do for safety before using again if your equipment has gathered a bit of dust?

I would suggest just give everything a quick wipe down with a dust collector rag and good to go. Dust explosions are usually going to occur when there is enough dust suspended in the air for the oxygen to allow for rapid combustion flour, saw dust and such requires so many parts per million suspended in the air to reach explosive levels. I have been away from that sort of stuff for many years and don't remember the correct ratios.

Wipe off the Compressor rods well & re-grease.
Make sure fittings are debris free before attaching etc ....
Fill guns to say 1.5K first and let sit 12-24 hours and check em for leak down issues of rotted o-rings.
Scrub the barrel bores, lube guns as needed and get after it once more

Good compressor advice from Motorhead. Let me just add a little to it
Just wipe the tank & hose clean. If the tanks out of hydro, get it inspected & hydro'd before you fill it. And before you fill your gun just open the valve a crack & let any dust thats in your probe/qd get blown out so it doesnt get in your gun. Dust can and will cause check valve issues down the road. Also you could visually inspect your hose & connections to be sure there arent any leaks/cracks.
Other than that, no real dangers to worry about that i can think of.
