I got my qcth today & couldn't wait to get started playing around with it. I didn't have many 48gr hunters supply slugs so I didn't play to much. The most I could get out of was 1059fps with the 48gr hps, thats roughly 120fpe. Most common fps was 1027-1059fps. I only had about 25 48gr. So I started with my 37gr rat snipers, I got it shooting, pw 1-7, 2700psi, no restrictor & a .010 shim behind top hat. Shot string while sighting it in at 28yrds was: 920, 974, 966, 964, 956, 957, 954, 950.
I wanted to keep going but I don't have many rat snipers left, I'm wait my order of 600 of them to come in, then I'll play around some more. Here's my sight in target & a 5 shot group that I tried lubeing the slugs. I'm the the groups could be better but i was using a ladder as my rest.
